This is the best place to grab a quick late lunch (or early dinner) because they are open until 9pm which is a blessing if you work late in downtown. They may not have everything late in the PM, but they'll have something. Pizzas are usually gone, hot bar is half empty, so I go for a soup. I tried their corn chowder; it tasted sweet and very spicy. The soup doesn't have sugar in it, I think the sweetness came from corn. Didn't expect it to be so spicy (should have read the ingredients) but loved it anyway.

This PCC is not really one you would visit to shop for groceries. It is geared more for office workers as it is only open on weekdays. The selection is a bit better than your standard convenience store. Prices do not seem as jacked up as shopping at a mini mart. With Amazon Go closing, I would expect this store to gain some foot traffic from those customers looking for reasonably priced grab and go breakfast and lunch items. Honestly, I would opt for the Whole Foods in South Lake Union for similar items because the product selection is much larger. But if I am in downtown Seattle and looking for a quick bite or drink while commuting to or from work, I would consider stopping by this PCC.

Regularly come here for hot bar lunch. Today I found a piece of plastic in their organic mac n cheese. I wonder how many I didn't catch 🙃

Going to PCC is always an experience. We went here to grab some food for dinner and we were not disappointed with the sandwich options in the deli. The store also has ellenos yogurt, which has closed their storefront at pike place market. If you need dinner or lunch on the go, this is a great pit stop. I also enjoyed a chai mead we found here upon getting back to our hotel.

It's hard to review a grocery store immediately after it opens: of course it looks wonderful. The produce looks top notch and the selection in the store is very good. However, this grocery store is more expensive than a QFC or Safeway: more in line with the Met. If you haven't been and you live downtown, check it out.
