Trader Joe’s, Oakland (Lakeshore) I often shop at this TJ’s location but I haven’t for many months due to the fact that they were moving shelves and blocking certain area off, especially when you’re in a hurry or only had a few minutes to shop. I had to ask TJ’s employees for help looking for items too. I was in the area so I stopped by really quick to grabbed an item. At checkout, I asked the cashier if they have the new lavender bag since I didn’t see it and my best friend was looking for one. The cashier said yes and ran to grab one for me. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait in long lines trying to get one! I would come back if I’m in the area, the cashiers are pretty awesome here. The workers are also helpful and friendly. Great customer services every time I come here. They have a great salad selection and frozen foods. There’s two unisex restrooms and the parking sucks.. lol

Busy place but the multiple checkout lines help move you and others out pretty quick. Theres 2 types of lines, one for hand basket/few items and one for shopping carts/a ton of items. The items they sell are fresh and exciting,especially if you find something out of the ordinary. Its fun to explore all over the store, just remember to look up,down,and all around because they may place items that don't necessarily seem to go other there. Workers there are always easy to talk to and get help or suggestions from. There are plenty of hand baskets and shopping carts available. Theres a mid sized parking lot in front but spaces get taken up fast and it gets a bit congested at times. Theres a garage on the side of the store that has more parking.

Ya know, it’s a Trader Joe. Always great service, never a line, shelves always stocked. I’ve never had anything but a stellar experience at a Trader Joe’s aside from it being overcrowded, for which I can’t blame them. Fair prices, service, interesting products, of course it’s always busy

Trader Joe's now. Wow! I love trader Joe's. I love their trademark. They're trade brand if far exceeds. And I hate to say this Walmart's trademark and their trade brand Great value. The only thing about Walmart's Great value is the it's a value, but it's nothing great. I don't know why they say Great value because it sure isn't great and the value is not really a value for trader Joe's. It's quite the opposite fresh produce. Great prices and their trademark. Awesome! What a difference between their trademark and Walmart's trademark items. I mean I can't explain it but there is a difference and it sure tells him the quality of the brand. I love trader Joe's. I have someone that works there and so that's where I do most of my shopping. Very affordable and very reasonable. Friendly atmosphere. Friendly people. I love it!

02/01/2026 8am I had a really good experience with Trader Joe’s - Lakeshore Ave, and it’s exactly why I love coming back to this location. I spoke to Julie over the phone, and she was very respectful, patient, and genuinely helpful. She made a real effort to look for the item I was asking about instead of giving a quick answer just to move on. That kind of care really stands out. This is why I enjoy shopping at this Trader Joe’s. The staff, especially Julie, makes the experience feel welcoming and positive every time.
