The Market Match Program aims to increase the amount of fresh local produce people with SNAP/EBT purchase. The goal, as a mission-driven co-op, is to remind our neighbors of the cultural traditions of cooking and eating meals together as a family. While cheap food is plentiful in urban food deserts and food swamps, a diet high in calories and low in nutrients will cost you in the end. Travelled from DC and stayed in a nearby Airbnb. Mandela was in walking distance of where I was staying. Excellent selection of organic, healthy options with a small array of organic fruits and vegetables. They also have a hot food bar which was a surprise. I love supporting small businesses and this one did not disappoint.

Tons of healthy, organic options plus a mini restaurant for takeout items in the back. Tried the half rotisserie chicken and potato wedges and they were 🔥🔥🔥. Portion was also very generous for the price. Staff was very welcoming and happy to converse which is always a nice touch.

Their kitchen smelled Heavenly & the menu looked amazing. Not enuf time to order food... however, the blood oranges were incredible! 💙 😮 & great coffee to boot. Excellent inventory & top notch service. 🦄
