The biggest selection of cold cuts, cheeses, and other delicacies. The staff are wonderful, competent, and polite, they are careful and listen to what you want, the prices are competitive, but the quality is outstanding. Worth a visit if you have never been.

This is a review of the prepared foods. Most of these foods are a bit above average but certainly not worthy of raves. It’s at least edible and not the slapdash convenience slop you find at Berkeley Bowl or Whole Foods. But it’s very meh most days, and occasionally offensive. This week’s “croquetas de pollo” are so far from what anyone who has remotely tasted authentic croquetas would manufacture, let alone trained cooks would dare serve. Instead of the glorious contrast between silky, savory interior and crispy exterior, these offered a crunchy breaded pocket containing diced chicken slurry with notes of charcoal. No technical touches whatsoever. Experiences like this reveal the pretense packed into the high prices. So sorry to say, I was just hoping for reliably good.

There are a lot of things here that are impossible to find together anywhere else: 1. Tree ripe mangoes - ultra sweet and juicy 2. Custom butchered whole Chicken - for eg. bone-in skin-on chicken breast (Shout out to José for being an awesome butcher!) 3. Fresh, tender small okra 4. Freshly made neopolitan pizza dough

This indoor market is amazing! Great fresh prepared and take-away food items. Pizza slices are huge, bakery is delicious! So many options.

So many unique finds at Market Hall. The Ginger Cookies in the bakery are some of my favorites. The fresh and yummy ready made options make a quick dinner easy. Shout out to Alma for going above and beyond. Such a pleasure working with her on one of my catering projects.
