I love this store. It's a safe, clean well stocked store that has become the community store for me and my family. Rose, who is the new Store Manage is friendly, and results driven. I've seen a real change for the better since she has taken over management duties. If you need a place to buy your groceries that has plenty of parking and a friendly staff, consider visiting this store. Matt says, I'll come back again often.

I went here yesterday Easter Sunday 4/5/26 to cash my check because there was nobody other place was open the gurl working there was very helpful and she cashed my check that was nice I've never been to this Safeway before but this made my day I needed my money. Good Customer Service

I didn't really like this location and they were out of alot of things or just didnt carry them. It is a bit on the small side so maybe that is why. Also they had a fistfight inside the store while I was there which was very frightening because all I could hear was yelling and screaming and punches landing. I was so afraid a gun was gonna come out and was looking for and exit when I saw them pass by the front of the aisle I was on literally crouching behind a display! I saw they were focused on each other and were herded outside. It looked like someone had attacked a worker or vice versa. Needless to say I hurriedly check out and left myself. From now on I am sticking to my favorite safeway in San Leandro on Bancroft instead. This one on Fruitvale is a bust. Would never go here again!!!!

Ive never been to this store and had it take less than 10 minutes to check out. 9:30 at night and theres a line halfway down the frozen aisle. Ive never seen them have more than 1 register open. Self checkout is closed early every day. Once it took me 15 minutes to get some riccola cough drops which they keep locked behind glass for some reason... I hate this store.

I've been to the store on January 20 2024 and I got myself and my mom and my 12-year-old sister I'm 11 my mom was spending time and then we bought some club soda pretty much that's it
