Rene Trevino 5 months agoThis has become our main grocery store for fresh produce, bulk spices and family friendly pricing. Parking lot is big, but shoppers/drivers are very rude, entitled, and you'll need to be cautious in the lot. Inside is very organized, staff is super helpful, and pricing is really good on most items. You can find almost everything you need for the kitchen like produce, meats, dairy, and shelf items, lots of options for pets, plenty of restroom items, and of course there's always the bakery with most items you'd need. The lines can get very long as this place is already a popular and well known location for nearby apartment buildings and locals alike, but it's worth it to us to drive the 20-30 minutes to get the fresh produce, bulk spices and baking goodies we currently rely on. Fast and friendly service with decent pricing overall and almost everything you might need.
Roger Parran a month agoArrived around 2305. 2 aisles were open at this time. By the time I left at 2345, there were 3 open. The only thing that I got was 4 bunches of turnip greens and 12 pack of ginger ale soda.
Amanda Langendorf 3 months agoBeen twice after 11pm. they only have 1 cashier checking people out. Both times the line was all the back to the produce area and took a good 30 minutes to get through. Don't go if you are in a hurry for sure. If they would have that 1 cashier running the 8 self check registers instead people could get out of there a lot faster.
Maggie Ross 3 months agoI am going to give this store 5 stars because of the prices, quality of food and service. David is always there and he is so friendly and sweet but you can definitely tell he is overworked. We went today at 10pm and he was the only cashier the night manager even walked out saw him and went back into the office didn’t even step up to help. I mean what kind of leader is that. He ought to be ashamed of himself. That one black man with the long dreads is always there and súper nice too I didn’t catch his name. But winco needs to get better managers because great employees they’ve already got.
Jonathan Yeager a month agoI have shopped at this WinCo for YEARS and after the way my family and I were treated tonight, I will never step foot in another one again. We had three separate transactions for three separate businesses we operate. Everything was separated beforehand, and each transaction was under the 10-item self checkout limit. My wife, kids, and I each went to separate self checkout stations. Before I could even start scanning items, a female employee came up with an immediate attitude and told us we could not use self checkout. I calmly explained that these were separate transactions and all under the limit. Her response was basically, “I don’t care.” Instead of explaining the policy professionally, she immediately escalated the situation and brought over loss prevention, who then threatened to kicked me out of the store before I was even allowed to explain the situation. I asked to speak with a manager about the situation and he was just as confrontational. Rather than actually listen to what it was, I was saying to him, he popped off with “well we could just trespass you”. So I turned and left the store. On my way out the door, I asked for the female employee’s name so I could file a complaint, she refused to identify herself, and the manager, “Art,” refused as well and sarcastically told me to “just say self checkout.” To make things even more bizarre, a steak knife fell out of this employee’s belingings during the confrontation and another employee had to pick it up because they didn’t know who it belonged to. Completely unprofessional and honestly concerning that someone working in customer service would be allowed to carry a weapon on them while on the clock, and then reach for that weapon during a confrontation with a customer. Could I have handled my frustration better at the end? Sure. But this entire situation was escalated unnecessarily by staff who clearly have zero deescalation or customer service skills. Absolutely appalled by the treatment my family received.
