I’ve been shopping here for over a year now, and it’s become my go-to spot in the Uptown/Deep Ellum area. The location is super convenient right near the Dallas Museum of Art and easy to pop into after work or on weekends. The store is generally clean and well-organized, even during busy hours.

I think I liked the garage parking the best. It was free for 90 minutes and spacious. I don't like the set up for Tom Thumb though. It's very confusing with the personal products and pharmacy leading the way and then double isles without proper markings to let you navigate the isles easily, it's just all bunches up together. There were a limited number of workers to assist us, for how big the store is. It's a bit overpriced as well and also they put the clearance items at the end of checkout, which leaves the customer at a crossroads on whether or not to look AFTER shopping and paying. That isle should at the least, be in the back or on an isle of it's own, marked clearance, BEFORE, the checkout.

I went to Tom Thumb and overall it was a pretty solid grocery store experience. The store was clean, organized, and easy to walk through without feeling crowded. I was able to find what I needed quickly, and the aisles were well stocked for the most part. I liked that they have a good variety of products, especially name brands and fresh items. The produce section looked decent, and the meat department had plenty of options. I also appreciated that they had a good selection of ready-made foods, which is convenient when I don’t feel like cooking. The only downside for me is that some items felt overpriced compared to other grocery stores, even with sales. The checkout line also moved a little slow, but the cashier was friendly and helpful. Overall, Tom Thumb is a convenient place to shop, especially if you want a clean store and a lot of options, but I’d probably shop sales to make it worth it.

I really do not appreciate the games that your employees play the last hour the store is open what is most concerning is that they start locking the doors at 1045pm trying to prevent anymore people entering the building. This behavior needs to stop immediately. I rely on the store being open until 11pm. I do not get home from work until 1045pm and I do not drive so the fact that I live so close to this store makes it convenient but far from comfortable due to the constant harassment over the loud speaker in an annoyed tone "the store is closing in so many minutes get your final purchases to the front if you are not checked out by 11pm you will not be getting your items today and you can return for them in the morning when we open at 6am".... I am a customer and I spend too much money shopping here then I would at other places but it's convenient so at the very least I should feel somewhat welcome if not appreciated for spending my money here. Recently I had an emergency at home and needed medicine for my child who was not feeling well. I arrived at your store at 10:51 pm the entry door on both side were already locked. I should not have to bang on the door for almost a minute and try to plead and ask other customers who are inside the store already to open the door. I only got in because I'm was lucky enough to catch someone leaving before the side door closed. This is shameful and embarrassing to your brand, employees, shareholders,and customers trying to spend money here. The employees knew the hours of operation and they are doing an injustice to the brand by playing these games during the final hour. They should just be glad the store isn't open till midnight and understand that them being home a few minutes earlier is not the goal... It's serving your customers during the times you've posted on the door....
