Great market to have downtown. I enjoy discovering new items in the bouquet of specialty products they carry. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. Especially Sam. He brings an energy to downtown that is needed. I was impressed with how much care he put it the sandwich I bought. I sat in awe in how perfectly it was wrapped. Great market. Great staff. Great addition to downtown.

Went there for the first time and was nice but expected more and better. The store was empty and I was never greeted or asked if needed help. They have a pretty decent dry food selection but was not impressed with their house made fresh selection. The cooler section was at best 1/3 full and had more brand items then fresh store made items. The cookies section was the same brand named items you can find at world market or whole foods. I bought four cheese ravioli that to be honest I couldn't tell the difference if they were from a regular grocery store. The home made Mac and cheese was very good. The cookies had no flavor whatsoever. If I didn't read the label I would have no idea what flavor they were. I highly recommend going to Jimmy's food store in East Dallas. They have a much bigger selection of fresh house made items and they import fresh Italian cookies from New York/New Jersey area and the customer service is better.

Stayed at a hotel near by and went for a walk in the evening and came upon this cute little shopcafé. Great customer service and prices. Picked up some yummy treats for the room. Would recommend for a breakdast, lunch, or dessert spot. Also great take home items for a nice dinner.

The corner spot Whether taking a stroll or visiting downtown, check them out. Coffee? No problem Pastry? No problem Italian sandwich? No problem Gelato? No problem Grocery items? No problem Wine? No problem You can get it here. This local owned gem is a sweet spot for the downtown residents and visitors. Staff is pleasant. Purchases earn you points they call tomatoes. Earning enough tomatoes will earn you other perks. Come have a seat, a beverage, and pastry while you wait for a friend, family, for a park movie to begin, or until you decide to move on with your walk, bike ride, tour, or return home. Do not forget to take a to-go meal. I will be back with my persons. Oh, this week, you may get some free herbs with a purchase. I chose mint. Update: I am a regular, especially for the Vegan Aussie Style Yogurt. Delicious!!

I want to take a moment to give Sam a big shoutout. I frequent Ari’s Pantry not only due to its proximity to my apartment downtown, but also, because of its quality products and quality employees. I always receive impeccable service when I shop there but I NEED to highlight Sam. Sam actually was working the first time I ever tried Ari’s Pantry and I can say that his service as well as sandwich artistry never disappoints. He is extremely creative in how he curates the sandwich specials and as someone with a very complex palette, I love the variety of flavors and textures he comes up with in the specials. Today, he made a Italian Thanksgiving Sandwich with cranberry & orange chutney that made my eyes roll in the back of my head. Please, please keep Sam forever, he truly is a gem.
