I can’t express my gratitude enough for your store being open on January 23rd, 2026 Friday during the beginning of our wintery mix. Thank goodness for all of the great offerings, and plenty discounts. For individuals like myself who solely have nothing left out of my entire check after I attempt to pay my high apartment rent. While I was not planning to spend that much on groceries. My daughter and I were in dire need of basic food necessities, including bread. I really just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am for your support for the community. Love ❤️ me some Kroger’s‼️

So I walked to this location with my son from picking up medicine at Anderson Clinic my son and I entered into the store I'm shopping once I finish shopping my son and I walked up to the self checkout register he checked out first then I started scanning my items as I finished scanning all of my items the young lady who was an African American with the dreads standing at her post monitoring me from her scanning section she sent another African-American lady with a big puffy ponytail to check to see if I checked out all of my items and everytime I checked an item off the machine made a beeping sound letting me know the items scanned but I did notice that the young African American lady with the dreads kelp stopping my register several times as if she was picking with me to see if I was stealing anything as I was scanning I did notice that my face kept showing up on the register so I wondered what was going on so when the young African-American lady came over with the puffy big ponytail she started scanning items that was already scanned and asked me did you keep scanning after the register said you needed an attendant I told her no if I needed an attendant that the register wouldn't keep letting me scan another item and this is how I know they was stereotyping me after she came over and discovered that she was rescanning items that I already had scan she said oh I'm sorry about that after she tried to embarrass me than I tried paying for my other items with three major bank cards every time I enter my PIN number it stated that my pen didn't work so I told her to cancel the other item she was like you sure I told her yes I'm sure I told her I will go to another store I just had used my bank cards to pay for medicine and an Uber so I had plenty of money on all of my bank cards I remember my sister would call me saying every time she came into this store she would have problem with the cashiers at this location that they would make you look like you're stealing while checking out your items at this location I never had an issue before when I use to come why would I steal anything the police officer was standing at the door so there's no need to steal nothing in front of a police officer that would be dumb to steal anything I'm very upset this was very embarrassing because they tried to make it seem like I was trying to leave the store without paying for my items and I had several cards even my credit cards in my purse I'm not trying to be mean but some of the food at this location set on the shelves not being rotated and the Krispy Cream donuts are old I picked up one of the box of donuts and the box felt gritty the icing from the donut fell into my hands they're so busy trying to watch everyone that comes into the store thinking that everyone steal that are African Americans I don't live in this area I just came to pick up my medicine I live an hour away I do understand they have people who do come into the store and steal because they have a lot of homeless people sitting in the front of the building begging when you're coming into the store when I left out of the store I noticed the same African-American woman with the dreads that kept stopping the self-checkout register when I was scanning my groceries when my son and I walked out of the store she came out the door as we was standing in front of the store waiting on our ride she begin to hit her vape and walked back into the store and started working I thought vaping was against the law and smoking on the premises is against the law as well so why was she able to go outside to hit a vape while the police officer was in the inside of the store you'll need to look back at the camera to see her this happened on April 19,2026 around 10:00am and I didn't appreciate how I was treated and will not advise anyone to shop at his store the machines are old and out dated and slow once your scan your items you shouldn't have no problem and stop judging all African American people who walk through the door.

I've been coming into this Kroger store for almost 2 years now, and never have I been treated this poorly. I carry a backpack with me everywhere I go. I've been asked to leave it at the door in several places, which I did until it was stolen. After it was all said and done, I was out just over $100 and several hours. Since then I have not left my bag anywhere. If I'm asked to leave it I can generally explain what happened and offer to look in it both before and after I do my shopping. I'll comply with anything except abandoning my property. My question is, if I have to leave my bag at the door how come women are not required to leave their purse? Both are big enough to put merchandise in, what's next, no clothing that can conceal anything? I asked to speak to the manager and was told that she was the manager. I'll be seeing the general manager in the next few days. I'm really pissed off about the whole thing. Update: I returned to that Kroger the next day and was able to make my purchases. I had my backpack on and did not have to take it off and leave it at the door, the security guard nodded at me as usual and general pleasantries were past amongst the staff and I. I hold no grudge against this lady not against Kroger's . I will continue to shop there and I will continue to carry my backpack I only hope that there's not another issue with being prejudged as a thief solely because I carry a backpack...

This Kroger location is conveniently located, has decent parking, and generally carries a good selection of items. Most of the staff, both in the main store and at the pharmacy, are polite and helpful. Unfortunately, I’ve had repeated negative experiences with two specific staff members that stand out. At the pharmacy, interactions with Oscar have consistently felt cold and dismissive. Greetings were ignored, and when I raised a reasonable concern about my child’s medication not seeming properly mixed or lasting as expected, the response was defensive rather than empathetic or explanatory. In the main store, I’ve had two poor interactions with the same cashier lady, about a year apart. Most recently at self-checkout, the handheld scanner was not working. Instead of assisting or offering an alternative, I was rudely told to lift and scan two heavy 40-bottle water crates myself, multiple times, despite the issue being explained. While these experiences don’t reflect most employees, they significantly impact the overall experience. Better judgment, courtesy, and customer awareness—especially in healthcare and heavy-item situations—would greatly improve service.

I dread coming into this store. This Kroger consistently has little to no staffed checkout lanes open, forcing everyone into self-checkout. The problem is that the self-checkout area is poorly managed, and about a third of the machines are usually broken or not working properly. Even if you are only grabbing one or two items, it can easily take 20+ minutes just to get out of the store. There are always lines, the checkout process is frustrating, and there never seems to be enough staff available to help. Kroger needs to either keep more staffed lanes open or properly maintain and support the self-checkout area. Right now, the checkout experience is unacceptable.
