My go-to for beef prices. Today was $3 per pound cheaper than Sam's Club or Costco for beef Chuck Roast. Love the store. Love the bulk goods section. Great produce section. Just generally good prices and a good store. Not much to elaborate on. Got some beautiful sushi today. The rice could have used some more vinegar and the wasabi was more concentrated than I am used to, but still a great experience.

Stopped by WinCo to grab some Fresh Sushi after work today, and was very impressed. I’ve always been more of a Target or Tom Thumb guy tbh… but might have to switch teams after this trip. 🍣 Interestingly enough, I just happened to bump into Forrest — the GM of the South Arlington location right off Cooper — as I was heading in from the parking lot, and he was very helpful. He helped me navigate the aisles and even gave me a rundown on why they’re successful and why he’s continued to work for them. 🍎 WinCo stands out for three reasons: (i) low prices, (ii) employee-owned, and (iii) it’s spotless. 🥉 First, they have some of the lowest prices in the DFW metroplex and possibly all of Texas. One driver of that is because they don’t accept credit cards, so aren’t having to pass on those excessive txn fees to the customers. Don’t worry — they accept cash, debit cards, EBT, and WIC though. 💳 Second, they are an ESOP and are employee-owned. Because of that, the team there actually cares and takes pride in their store. They were all super nice, helpful, and just seemed in good spirits. 😃 They’re also able to recruit staff effectively who actually want to stay, work, and provide a quality experience for the customer. And that’s why they have over 150 employees here. 🛒 A visible byproduct of that is that their store is absurdly clean. The floors are waxed and shiny, the deli and seafood counters are wiped down consistently (+smell great), and all their products are stacked neatly, making navigation around the facility pretty straightforward. 🧼 Tip: They’re busiest hours are from 12:00PM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to midnight. But since they’re one of the only grocery stores open 24/7, you can come whenever you need. ⏰ It’s located off Cooper, right next to Hobby Lobby, and across from the Parks Mall. Most convenient 24-hour grocery stop in South Arlington. And parking is super easy, as the lot is massive with over 250+ parking spots (including wheelchair accessible spaces up front). ♿️ Special shoutout to Forrest, Geo, Key, the sushi chef, the produce lady, the deli lady, and the rest of the WinCo team for everything today. I’d 100% recommend them both as a place to shop for groceries, but also as a place to work if you’re looking for a career in the CPG industry. 💼 Forrest, for example, has been at the Company for years, being recruited from their California locations to help run their Oklahoma and Texas stores too. And says this location is one of their best. 🏬 Bonus Tip: Check out the Cashier Millionaire YouTube video. Some of their long-tenured employees are $$$ due to the ESOP… and well deserved 🤑 Overall, giving the South Arlington WinCo a solid 5 BIG BOOMS 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻! Will definitely be back.

Great prices on frozen items, meats, and produce. They have a bulk food bin section not typically seen except in higher end grocery stores like Sprout's. The store is open 24/7, which is a major plus for anyone working odd shifts or just needs something in the middle of the night. To keep prices down, WinCo does not accept credit cards, only bank debit cards.

They had several employees following me and my babies around the entire store. At least 5 that I noticed. It made for a very uncomfortable experience. This has never happened anywhere else. Straightening cereal boxes. Honestly. Coming down the same aisle several times and picking up nothing. Asking if I needed help and when told no still standing there. I have never had anything like this happen before in my life. I'm not sure who reported what lie but it was uncalled for. If anyone was stealing today, I'm sure they missed them by following us so closely.

This grocery is one you need to keep on hand always. They are open 24hours whichakes it so convenient for so many reasons especially for those who work late shifts or those who work super early.. Such an amazing store thanks for all you guys do and for being such a great help to the community.
