They used to have amazing hoagies filled to the point that you could make an extra sandwich with it. And real amoroso rolls. I loved the chicken salad which tasted homemade but like so many other places they are now cutting quality to cut cost. The hoagie i just had may as well have come from Wawa. Just disappointing.

Came initially to just try out the ONE and Only Saudia's soul food, but ended up walking around the store and find some great finds with Awesome prices, they also do not, unlike every store in the city, charge a Sugar tax 😀!! As a Sprite drinker I was able to purchase 2 6pks of 16.9oz bottles for $6 -Compared to literally two days prior paying about $11 on sale for the same exact thing at my local store.. This was not only my first time at a Fresh Grocer, but it also was a bit of a drive about 35minutes away, but worth it. From Saudia its buffet style, but you make your own platters (gloves are provided and required) the platters are weighed at $9.99lb I made and purchased two platters with fried fish, Mac & cheese , yellow rice, yams & a little grits ( accidentally they looked just like mashed potatoes), also a separate bowl with seasoned salmon by itself.. TRUE opinion-fried Fish perfectly cooked & seasoned, Salmon the same, Yams Delicious, Grits even tasted great, but Mac and cheese not my fav.. a bit over seasoned for me but extra cheesy and not too bad. Two ONLY complaints 1. Nothing was labeled (hints grits which truly looked just like mash)2. And Only other complaint the yellow rice had no Flavor At ALL,, but price per platter was about $15 each which for the sizes I feel was A GREAT price!! I would recommend not only the store but also Saudia's and even take a ride back up there and hope to catch Saudia's greens!! Because I heard they were GREAT looking forward to my next visit already!!! 🙂

The soul food from sadis if I'm spelling her name correctly is good sometimes the Mac and cheese months ago was kind of salty but I ate it anyway because I love Mac and cheese their fried chicken is awesome even though I only like wings but I get breastfeeding for my husband. Other than that I give the food court a 5 star ➕️

Awful customer service. I went grocery shopping with my 80 year old mother and when we went to check out of the store, not the self check, out but the manned cashier terminal they expected my mother to bag her own groceries. She’s elderly and I’m glad I was there to help her but it should not be the expectation for her to bag her own extremely expensive groceries. It’s bad enough we now have to pay for reusable bags at 200% markup but why is she made to bag her groceries? I have not had this experience in any grocery store in the suburbs.
