Submitted this on the customer feedback survey a month ago and have received no response. Giant cares little about customer satisfaction and entirely about profit margins. So reviewing here so hopefully others start to avoid Giant, we've successfully made the extra effort this past month to shop at smaller grocery stores and butchers, for cheaper prices at that! Complaint submitted to Giant: This is the second time in a month I have purchased rotten meat from this location. The first time I purchased ground beef on 10/8/25 showing a "sell by" date of 10/17/25. Only after arriving home and opening the package to find it rotten, did we notice a second sticker had been placed over the top of the original sticker. The original sticker said "sell by" 10/7/25. This is extremely disgusting and unethical to attempt to sell meat past the original date and then be deceitful about it. When I went to return it the next day, the manager on duty dismissed my concern. She said she couldn't assume this was the case, but would notify the meat manager. Now, less than a month later, we have again purchased absolutely rancid lamb chops, not been able to eat dinner, and had to waste time out of our day to return to the store for a refund. Clearly, nothing was done to address meat quality concerns. On top of this most egregious issue, another main issue is the lack of smaller shopping carts. This location is small and largely caters to people on foot. We do not need nor want to push a huge cart around the store. I put in a customer care request in July 2024 and was told my request would be given careful consideration. A few months later even less small shopping carts were available and replaced with random metal large ones. It was almost laughable how it felt like the opposite of what was needed took place. The smaller ones are always selected first and not available, a clear indicator of what customers need and want. There are not even baskets available like literally any other grocery store. We've experienced issues with coupons not working in the app, products regularly not being available or in stock, and overall astronomical costs compared to other grocery stores. The convenience of being the closest store to our house is just not worth it anymore.

worst grocery store in the area. the deli is possibly the most mismanaged and awful deli in the city. Every time i go here (once a week) the deli employees tell me that they are in the washing sanitizing stage, which takes at least 30 mins. I often wait an hour for a simple deli order as it takes them forever to do anything. I've working in food service and the restaurant industry for 24 years, including grocery stores. It does not take an hour to wash, rinse and sanitize four deli slicers. As i observe and look around the store i always see a gaggle of managers just standing around talking, as the deli employees sink further into the weeds. I figured ok maybe im going at the wrong times, assuming they clean the equipment at 2 or 4 hour intervals. No they just do it i think when they don't want to serve customers. I've planned and out of curiosity arrived at random times and 100% they are always "cleaning the equipment". Honestly it's bizarre. Also half the sales and discounts don't even come up at the POS so you can be assured the store is mismanaged from the front and back. What a shame, the employees are all very nice and the store is clean. This is a classic case of mismanagement and poor delegation. I'm actually impressed how bad it is.

Came here the other day for the first time to pick up a few things since I was in the area and I had a very pleasant experience. I was able to find all of the items that I needed. The store is very clean and organized. The prices are on the expensive side but everything is good quality though so it’s worth it. Highly recommend.

Store is fine but they forgot to make our sandwich platter for catering even though we ordered 48 hours in advance. Waited another 25-30 minutes just for them to make it. Don't get catering here.

The worst giant, they keep up all the old price stickers. You will get to the counter and end up having to pay way more than what you thought because the items you picked up are actually not on sale. There are never any cashiers employees here aremiserable.
