The store seems very clean and well organized however, we recently ordered two birthday cakes from the bakery. The first cake was a coconut and was delicious fresh and properly. The second cake was a Cassata cake and it was really not good at all. It was impossible to cut because the bakery had laughed whole strawberries instead of slicing them so everyone slice this is not really ideal and I’m not sure if they really know what a Cassata cake is

5 star ⭐️ for managers but deli/meat department 0 I shop here regularly and I love the two head managers! They definitely are in these positions for a reason. Unfortunately though I can’t stand the deli. I just left there from talking to one of the managers about this issue. The people specifically, this one employee this is now his second time doing it always seems to have an issue and attitude along with others when I asked them to cut turkey on a clean slicer. There is multiple slicers first and second I know it might be an “inconvenience” to take a slicer apart but for religious reasons I can not have the cross contamination. Apparently they have to do it anyways every 2 hours. I’m just truly sick of it it’s really offensive. There are a few reasons people may ask to have things cut on a clean slicer or unused one. If you don’t like your job and or what you may have to do then quit. No need for the attitude or ignoring a person when they are speaking to you. It’s unprofessional. This is the 4th time this has happened. I ended up telling him forget it I’ll save you such the “headache”. This type of behavior can cause them one to loose customers and money. I hate to say this but maybe it’s time to switch out the deli staff. Side note the meat department same way not everyone but most ignore you as if your not standing there it’s truly ridiculous.

Had a horrible experience at this store. The customer service is terrible they treat everyone as if they are only shopping at this store to steal. I went to a self checkout at this location scanned my items and was aggressively approached by Cheryl asking me why I did not ring my onion up as a peeled onion, which by the way my onion was not peeled and scanned correctly. I was not only taken aback but concerned at how this store treats its customers. I spoke with the manger Josh with Cheryl present and she was unable to give a reason as to why she aggressively approached and accused me of mis ringing up an item beside her stating she assumed I did. Apologies after the fact are unacceptable. This store practices racist tactics and I will not be returning. I will stick with the suburban Giant Eagle where I have never had an issue and have always received the utmost customers service. Cheryl needs to retake a course in Customer service because keeping someone like her on the floor is taking a big chance on a civil suit in the future.

A well stocked store with a unlimited array of items that most of the Giant Eagles dont have.Fresh produce , hot food , with an area to eat.very nice bakery, meat dept, delicatessan,pharmacy etc.it gives Market Distrct vibes.vey clean ,safe , and lots of well lit parking plus security. 5 stars
