While this review is mostly for the building itself because that is what drew me inside to check the place out. The building is amazing, I sure wish I could have seen it in its hayday of being a bank. This is a cool grocery store, what I would call boutique. I would have liked to seen their lunch food selections, they sounded good. But they got it all here, from beer to sushi. I really enjoyed being able to see the inside.

I have visited many grocery stores in my life, but Heinen's Downtown Cleveland is in a category entirely its own. This is not just a place to buy groceries — it is a destination worth visiting even if you don't need to shop. The building is absolutely breathtaking. Originally the historic Cleveland Trust Company bank, the architecture is stunning from the moment you walk in. The grand rotunda with its gorgeous dome, the intricate details on the walls and ceilings, the elegant arches — it all feels more like stepping into a museum or a European cathedral than a supermarket. It is genuinely one of the most beautiful interior spaces in all of Cleveland, and I think in the entire state of Ohio. And yet, somehow, the grocery experience lives up to the setting. The selection is excellent — fresh produce, high-quality meats, a wonderful deli, and a great variety of specialty and local products. Everything is well-organized, clean, and thoughtfully displayed. The staff is courteous and always happy to help. Prices reflect the quality, but the experience you get is well worth it. Whether you're a Cleveland local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and walk through those doors. Heinen's is proof that grocery shopping can actually be a beautiful experience. 🏛️🛒✨

Excellent shopping experience every time! The store is always clean, well organized, and fully stocked. The quality of the produce, meat, and bakery items is outstanding. Staff members are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Heinen’s really stands out for its fresh selection and great customer service. Definitely one of the best grocery stores in the area!

Incredibly cool grocery store with five star food and service. Pour your own wine. Used to be a bank and the interior alone is worth a peek. If you eat or drink here, they will NOT give you a cup of ice.
