I have been shopping here for the better part of ten years off and on. The prices have always been a bit ridiculous, but I come here bc they are the only place open at 7am on my way to work. I always thought this was a cute little market, but I've noticed over the years that they don't pay very close attention to certain things especially produce. I have gotten green peppers that looked okay but were moldy when I cut into them apples that look okay but were brown all the way through one even had seeds sprouting already inside of the Apple. Not sure how that even could happen. These are just a couple examples. There have been quite a few other things besides of the very high prices. I left a message for the GM and I will continue to go there but be very cautious about what I buy. If things continue to go downhill then I'm just not going to go back anymore. How unfortunate for such a cute little store. I posted a pic of the spoiled Apple that I sliced for lunch. Take a close look. You can see a sprout actually growing out of the apple seed. Never seen that one in my life before 😂 You can also see the spoilage on the Apple. I had to throw the entire thing in the trash. There was no part of it that was even remotely edible.

I feel like I may have given a good rating to this place one day because it seemed like a nice spot to go eat until yesterday when I got some fish that used to be full service and is now self-service I couldn't grab anybody's attention to ask them until they came up questioning things themselves and looked at me confused saying yes you get it yourself and you wait at the front I got some perch and I took it to the front and my first bite of my first piece tasted like a dirty hose slimy crunchy I don't know made me think of an eyeball of funk nasty and left me gagging was always nice looking the fish didn't look so good but I figured it was just perch and it will taste like white meat and not raw sewage that when I got in the car about broken half in my hand the potato wedges were crunchy almost like skin American cheese was fine but I only got a dab because paying by the pound probably not ideal to get a full serving they carry everything on Earth but Pepsi in the parking meters been replaced by a QR code that when I scanned it and went inside I couldn't see the 5 or 6 digit number that one would need to pay to park going to my QR code history it didn't show me the picture I took so to speak to try to scan the barcode where it doesn't save to my gallery but it showed me what looked like a very two-dimensional flat basic black and white QR code then I seen a cop come inside and I thought yeah I hope he's nice and I don't get a parking ticket I went outside and reopened the thing and the website was really confusing and I just left thinking well I didn't have to pay for parking I won't come back unless I'm extremely desperate my stomach was not happy this morning filth haunted by garlic and didn't need any spices were that of very plain panko cardboard tube crumbs and not so fine stick like spices/herbs all the fish was soggy and curled unlike what I remember nice planks of well breaded fish

Absolutely amazing selection with cold salad bar freshest veggies fruits ans chickpea salad anywhere!! Everyone is so nice you can find specialty items here like hawaiin volcano water that used plastic from the ocean to save our oceans they are just amazing. The fresh and hot food is divine!! Anytime your in the area make sure to make a stop here! You will be happier when leaving.💚💚🩵🩵

Nice downtown grocery store. Small, but has pretty much everything you need. Has some prepared food including salad bar, pizza section, sandwhiches and others with some outdoor tables for eating. Has decent wine and beer sections and enough fresh produce. Easy stop when on the west side of downtown.

My view on these little bodega-style grocery stores is starting to change. Prices are getting out of control — charging a dollar for a single packet of salad dressing is honestly insane. On top of that, it’s the same soup every single day. It’s getting disgusting, and people are tired of eating the same thing over and over.
