Cole Thomas 2 weeks agoShout out to Miss Val at the sandwich counter!! Ive been coming in here several times a week for lunch while im working on a nearby construction project, the prices are far cheaper than any lunch you would get anywhere else, store is always clean and the staff are nice. Today I went for a sandwich and I asked Miss Val if they did "chopped" sandwiches, I had seen it on TikTok, its just taking all the sub ingredients and chopping and mixing them so you get better distribution. She looked a little puzzled and said she hadn't heard of it but then she said "if thats what you want, I'll do it". She pulled her knife out, no hesitation, no fuss and put in WORK. When I tell you this is the best sandwich ive ever had and I give credit to the love she made it with. She is a total asset to this store, her smile and can do attitude made my day!! THANK YOU MISS VAL!!
James M 11 months agoNice, clean store. The store is on the second floor of the building with plenty of parking below. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well-stocked with ample lighting and spacious aisles for easy access. Glad to see my hometown grocery store opening in North Carolina.
Teondra Bess 7 months agoI’ve gotta my kiddos cakes here for the past 5 years. This time I called asking the bakery for the same design that I got “piano keys” and was told several times that the decorator and manager wasn’t capable of doing the design. It’s literally black lines and rectangles. The notice is 24 hours “standard” and I didn’t need the cake until 30 hours from now. A 8inch cake. They refused to allow me to email a picture and automatically denied my efforts without even seeing what I’m talking about. If you’re a cake decorator and can’t make lines and rectangles something is not right. I will see if I can add a picture of how simple the cake that I was asking for is! *keep in mind I only asked for the piano keys on a 8 inch Round cake which is way smaller than the pictured photo. But again they wouldn’t even take my order to understand what I was asking for. And I was well within their 24 hour notice minimum. She didn’t even get to the point of asking my pick up time, otherwise she would have known it was 30+ hours away from the time I placed the order. Very Disappointing And they’ve lost a customer of almost 6 years
Tikita 10 a month agoNot sure what was the worst part: the horrible attitude of the lady at the Deli or the chicken. I asked this lady when more Mixed Chicken boxes were coming out and she went inside and brought me one box out, which I was happy for it. Poor lady lacks of manners and customer service but got me what I asked. The surprise was, chicken wasn’t what I expected and ordered: only 1 breast, 1 leg and rest were thighs and wings, some spicy, so basically she put everything she found left in the kitchen and made a leftover box. Chicken tasted like it was cooked the day before, more breaded than chicken (I am not kidding) and no flavor. I used to love their fried chicken but not anymore Got my kids angry and had to go somewhere else to get what I paid in Publix Super disappointed and I don’t think I’ll go back to this location again.
jason j watt watkins 4 months agoJust left out of this store ten minutes ago ago and still sitting in the parking deck as I type this review. I was checking out my two items at self checkout. As I picked up the last item (grapes) to put in the bag from standing to the side of me I hear her saying something. She wanted to explain that I would pay a cheaper price by selecting a different option than what I did. After doing so she just took it upon herself to start selecting an option (or pressed something on the screen) as I was standing nearby putting the grapes in a bag. VERY MUCH NOT ASKED FOR OR APPRECIATED. After I checked out to her I even went to her in a respectful manner to say I didn’t want or appreciate her taking it upon herself to select anything or punch anything on my screen as if she were shopping for me or even paying. I told her no problem for telling me how to select the cheaper option. Ok great, but when I let her know I didn’t want her just taking it upon herself to tap and select things on my screen, she just did not want to accept me saying that or something. She just kept trying to explain her side and not even acknowledging what I told her. Maybe just wanting to be stubborn, maybe she just wanted to try and just go back and forth about just something (which I have a sense that this is a major part of it), It started to seem a bit personal. personal on her part. anytime a customer/client from a Business perspective has a Legit concern and voices it to staff, if it can’t be acknowledged and respected, that’s a personal issue on their part. I prob won’t even be back to this one which is somewhat of an inconvenience due to my work specifications but if I would come back here and have to experience this or something of the like again. This is not a say sorry or apologetic thing, she just needs to be able to respect customers wishes, please. Did just get off the phone with the produce manager Greg, respectfully, about it. Thank you for speaking with me.
