Always a great experience with shopping and the staff. Chicken Wednesday is a fantastic deal and the chicken is fresh, hot, and very tasty. Great job deli staff.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've been getting the fried chicken at Family Fare Supermarket. (Even before it was called Family Fare Supermarket) And I should have done this a long time ago... Lol. Make this review... but here it is... If you're looking for scrumptious, mouth-watering, crispy and delicious fried Chicken... I've got your answer. And that is Family Fare Supermarket fried Chicken. Now you're probably thinking, no I want to go to those other places... why would the fried chicken be any good at a supermarket? But the fried chicken at Family Fare is so good. Every time. It's just the right amount of crispyness, and personally I think the flavor is perfect. And it's not dry or anything, it just melts in your mouth. I love getting their meal deal. I always get the fried chicken macaroni and cheese and a bun on the side. Yeah and that's the other thing, the macaroni and cheese and the mashed potatoes and gravy are so good! 😲 like, I want to go eat some of them right now. Haha! But seriously, I really just want to say personally I think they're fried Chicken is the best in Omaha! At this location. I think I'm going to go there today and grab some of this. Let me know what you think in the comments okay because I think you're going to really enjoy it. They also sell buckets of chicken for an exceptionally reasonable price.

Has a whole True Value on the south side?!! Next time I need a furnace filter I'm going here. Grocery side has split aisles so you must walk down the middle of them all and look both ways to find products. Produce is hit or miss depending on which location. No issues at this specific location with produce! Clean and quiet.

Today on May 20th 2026 , I had the most unfriendliest checker ever . Her name was Rebecca , and she had the most authoritarianism attitude I've ever seen for a checker . I've gone to the store for many years and have a lifetime savings of almost $6,000 , so I hope to get the attention of the owner of this grocery store , because her attitude is not the norm for this store . She had far too many rules for me as a customer to follow without even being friendly about it . This particular store I would give a five star review , but today I left the grocery store just a little angry .

Numerous closed checkout isles. I don't like that this is my most convenient store in the neighborhood. It wouldn't exist otherwise. Employees just standing there and will watch you sack your own groceries. This could be resolved easily. Really not the employees fault that expectations seem to be set low. Deli is always sparse and out of fresh hot food. Picture is typical of the hot deli.
