Bobby Beachy 2 months agoI'll start by saying I'm grateful to have them in the neighborhood and they are a great resource for some quick things. However, if you want fresh produce or any food item that gets air exposure in the store, the food, your hands, everything is saturated with the smell of the incense or fragrance of the store. Food will taste like it if you are sensitive to perfumes, etc. I really would like a place to piece together organic produce and things for a quick meal, but I can't really do that here.
Will B 10 months agoGreat centralized spot for healthy snacks, groceries and even wine if you’re a drinker. They have some unique products that are hard to find elsewhere. Definitely pay them a stop if you’re on a journey to healthier living.
Color Theory 4 months agoWorst bags. Best people. You aren't going to be able to find EVERYTHING you might want to buy, but when it comes to the essentials, this place is good enough. Not really into supplements or homeopathic medicine, but you can find local and organic food here. I have had three bags tear out from under me as I was walking home. First was paper, and if it wasn't for a kind neighbor, I would have been leaving food on the ground. Thought I would be proactive about it today and asked for two plastic bags to ease the burden on each bag. 30 seconds out the door, I noticed one bag was already torn through from the corner of a box of detergent. Scrambled to hold it under my arm and while I was doing that, the other bag's handles ripped through and fell to the ground. Broke a bottle of hot sauce and turned all my groceries red and dripping. Shamefully walked back and explained the accident and not only did the manager bring me a trash can and a box. But replaced the hot sauce as well. Thank you!!! But also please invest in better bags lol
Charles Davis 5 months agoReally bad customer service from a few of their cashier's.The guy with the Edward scissors hands haircut is extremely terrible, and the young guy that always wears that Polo sweater with the beanie is extremely terrible. Another cashier at night is terrible as well, oh and stop fake following customers around the store it's strange it makes you want to steal to piss then off for following you. A few daytime cashier's the young ones are extremely pleasant and not paranoid.
TWK 9 months agoWe shop at this little store several times a week. Today (9/24/25 10:30am), we were excited to see they were having a sale on the soap we use. When the cashier rung us up, the soap scanned at full price. My husband told him it was marked on sale and the cashier asked him to show him the label on the shelf. When he did, the cashier explained that the label was a mistake and that he would not honor the listed price. My husband told him he would still like the listed price to be honored (businesses are legally obligated to honor listed prices in most states, including Missouri). The cashier became defensive, repeated that it was “a mistake” and refused. This is not a cashier we have seen before- maybe he is new but he did not handle the situation correctly (not ethically or legally). We like this store and love all the longterm employees who we regularly see. We have been years-long loyal customers and this experience did not make us feel good. It wasn’t about the 4 dollar difference, it was the principle and the fact the sign literally misrepresented a product and price. There is little more valuable to a business than good customer service and I hope management will help this guy do better in the future.
