I generally have a great experience here, though I only shop for items on sale. The prices are too high for regular shopping, but the sales are legendary. Excellent produce selection, hot bar, cheese department... Keep an eye on their weekly and daily specials, they're often priced below the "lower-priced" chains like Cub. Convenient if you're in the neighborhood often, but impossible to plan around for regular shopping if you're on a budget. I always have a nice time there, with great service and selection, so I'm rating it highly :)

I love this store but the cashier Felix is by far the RUDEST person I’ve ever had check me out. I sincerely hope she doesn’t work there much longer because I would rather wait 20 minutes in another line than interact with her. Every time I give her another chance she’s just as unwelcoming and rude. I asked for a second receipt for gift cards I bought for activation confirmation(which everyone else just presses reprint) and exclaims “NO!” Outside of her the staff is wonderful so avoid her AT ALL COSTS

I go here all the time because it's convenient and clean, and sections are clearly marked. The $6 sushi special on Wednesday is fairly reasonable. Lunds & Byerly's is overpriced for the most part, so I wouldn't shop here other than for the Caribou or convenience sake. If it were Aldi's, Cub, or another grocery store, then I would be just as likely to go. It's nice and does the job.

I recently visited Lunds & Byerlys Uptown Minneapolis for the first time, and I left with a big smile. I honestly haven’t met such kind and helpful people in a long time. From the management to every employee we interacted with—everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. The store is beautiful and has a huge selection, so as first-time customers we felt a little overwhelmed trying to find specific items. But the staff kindly helped us right away and guided us to everything we needed. This was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had. Produce is high quality. Prices are on the high side, but I try to support local chains over corporate ones. would like to see more local products on the shelves. Also the flow is very awkward. Feels like you are entering through the exit and you collide with people trying to leave.
