Busy store, but easy to navigate and easy parking in the attached structure, tickets supposed to be validated and they allow only 60 minutes parking at a time, with steep fees above that. However on a Sunday evening, the ramp was open anyway, posdibly enforced during work hours to prevent parking for other businesses. Good produce and dairy selection, fairly inexpensive especially the large selection of organic foods. Despite being located downtown, seems to be more convenient shopping experience than expected.

I finally checked out Trader Joe's to see what all the hype was about, and honestly it was just okay to me. The store was very crowded, and a lot of the food selection leaned more toward frozen and processed items. The produce and meat sections were smaller than I expected. I mainly went to try their protein smoothies and picked up two different kinds. They were decent, but nothing really stood out or made me want to go back for them specifically. The prices were fair and the store was clean, but overall I just didn’t have the “wow” experience people talk about.

TJ's is surprisingly spacious! The fact that the liquor section is separated with its own door is a unique touch. The staff are clearly hardworking and genuinely friendly. Makes for an easy and pleasant shopping experience.

It's hard to wax rhapsodic about a grocery store -- and I won't do that here. Trader Joe's is (for me) an acquired taste. Once inside, the aisles are wide enough to accommodate two snow-blowers or a wide-body truck. The items on the shelf all seem to be trademarked as Trader Joe's specials -- many of them are wonderful. (One ponders if the profit margin's are embedded in the sale price of each package.) The outside of the store is another matter. Parking in an urban downtown store in Minneapolis is congested & difficult to navigate. The gate to get out of the parking lot breaks down frequently (twice while I was there last). It's a design problem, not one of the staff's negligence. Overall, I enjoy the in-store experience but is it enough to overcome the traffic jam and lines to exit the parking lot. So: *** is the best endorsement I can muster. Thanks, Trader Joe.

Visiting from Vietnam and this was the best experience for us ever! We walk pass this Trader Joe and decided to walk around since it was our first time. We meet this very friendly employee Dio, very nice guy who made us feel very welcomed. It was around close but he showed us around introducing the viral pistachio ice cream as well as the tote bags This was an amazing experience for both of us. Thank you Dio for being generous and kind 🤗
