Awesome place with great food and good people. I really love this place. Check out the world famous crab restaurant if you get time, oh and don't forget to get some potato ice cream from Taharka's.

Nice eight minute walk from the UMMC Hospital. It was a nice break from the hospital food. I got cut up fruit and some kielbasa and sauerkraut and a piece of red velvet cake. It was heavenly. The lady in the back corner on the lower level was very helpful and sold me a gloves and a hat for my walk back. We’ll definitely visit again.

I arrived in the afternoon, there was a lot of them still open. I like the Nathan famous beef dog and the seafood at the door. It was a little crowded in the building.

Huge market with loads of food options to try! We ate at the famous Faidley’s Seafood. Got the jumbo lump crab cake platter and loved it!

I had such a fun time exploring this historic spot because there are so many different smells and flavors everywhere you turn. It feels like a real community hub with a huge variety of stalls selling everything from fresh seafood and produce to prepared meals that you can't find anywhere else. I tried some famous local food that was absolutely delicious and served by people who were clearly proud of what they were making. The atmosphere is very lively and busy, giving you a true taste of the city's energy and culture. It is a great place to wander around if you want to see a mix of old traditions and new vendors all in one big building. I loved being able to grab a quick, authentic bite to eat while watching all the activity around me.
