Mt Vernon Super Mart ..aka Down Under known by the locals is a Great place...the new owners Yung & Chang, delightful folks, have & continuing to do renovations & even added more authentic food items. Wide variety to choose from. My pics dont do justice 😏 Check it out yourself. Now that Eddies has closed, you might want to see the fresh foods selections they have. The Mrs. makes her homemade chicken salad..delish! Basically, if they dont have it, you dont need it 😊

This is a liquor store and the furthest thing from a market bc all they sell is junk food and booze. And they don’t take EBT. They have 500 cameras and 95% of the store is alcohol. Market? Yeah right.

The name of the place can be deceiving since it is a convenience store (not a supermarket). They do have a great beer/wine selection as well as a wide range of liquors. They also carry many snacks and kitchen staples. They are not open on Sundays (probably due to state alcohol restrictions), but they are open quite late on other days. A great local spot when you need to put together a party in a pinch! Be prepared for the convenience store pricing though.

Love this shop. These lovely people always had the best snacks and household gadgets to go along with the liquor... but after Eddie's closed they started stocking more and more helpful household items and groceries. If you want something, tell the owner. Great selection of cold craft local beers!

This place is developing into more of a really nice corner store (I won’t say bodega bc there is no prepared food). I’ve gone here for the most random items (drain snake, lemons, batteries) which they had. The owners are very nice and the place is an asset and very well stocked.
