Your self-checkout security system has become incredibly frustrating. It was already difficult when the weight sensors required items to be placed perfectly, and nothing could be adjusted once it was in the bag without triggering an alert. Now, with what feels like every small movement being monitored, the experience has become even more stressful. Instead of making checkout faster and more convenient, it feels overly restrictive and intrusive. I understand the need to prevent theft, but the system shouldn’t make regular customers feel uncomfortable while simply trying to pay for their items. I’m honestly considering shopping elsewhere, even though this location is very convenient for me. The checkout process should make things easier, not more aggravating.

GIANT 4622 Wilkens ave. Baltimore GOOD: staff, quality, choice, atmosphere, deals BAD: Prices are still above average - but quality softens the blow I can't say enough about this store - my first visit after my usual GIANT closed. RIP- but it looks like a blessing. Premium there was fending off panhandlers - at Wilkens ave., premium is well - everything. I walked in to get prescriptions. I received fast, friendly service. The store applied their own "discount" and my meds were ready right away. The store is beautiful - inside and out. Locationwise, instead of a shady laundromat, I get pizza, Chinese and SUBWAY choice. The store is clean, large and well-organized. There are eye catching departments that give you the GIANT meets WHOLEFOODS effect. There is a big seating area for meals and a robust Starbucks (see pics). You may pay the chain prices, but at least they bring the quality and service. They assist on price with triple point promos AND numerous sales. Buying GIANT brands is a good strategy. Finally, a huge perk to this store is the staff. They are numerous and helpful. They seem happy on the job and uplifts your mood as a shopper. Try this store - even if a little farther. You will be pleased.

I went in there seriously ill, and the woman at the checkout counter staying one item and walked away so every time since I mostly buy fruit went to scan something and it didn't work I would just put it in the car she would come take it out of the cart and scan it for me. Then I said to her I am dizzy and cannot stand up straight, she said well the rest of the products you can just scan them easily and walked away from me. Races woman I am white she is black she looked at me like I was the devil himself and talk to me like straight trash. I am waiting for them to shut this giant down with service like that you can go to a Mini Mart or an illegal store. Terrible service terrible workers terrible people

Customer Srv-Dk employee Shi was real helpful when I needed to return cat litter when I didn't have a receipt. I was allowed to give me to enter my phone-# & was taken care of. Nice that people/businesses are helpful when times are tough & we're suffering through miserable weather conidtions. Giants & Shi are both rock solid when it comes to being helpful. Thanks to both Giants & Shi. While losing receipt was my fault, I'll say some businesses are ignorant/have ignorant policies when it comes to returns with no receipt when a card was used for purchase & other documented proof such as phone-# applies but this store was great.

Overpriced, and scamming people of charging for a single bottle of Saratoga water, $3.89. When I went to buy the case of 12, they quoted me $47 which is a complete rip off. These cases are only $30. They’re just scamming their customers. When I went to speak to the manager (Spanish guy because the black lady was rude who was one of the associates), they clearly didn’t care about raking in profits and up charging the customers. Will never do business here again.
