Malcolm ivanon 2 months agoHad some expired meat delivered to me through uber eats and attempted to return it they said they didn't take returned expired meat and I would have to go through uber for a return, while I literally was in the store. (I wasn't thinking, I should of took pictures of the upper management I spoke to.)
Suzanne Montgomery 3 months agoThis is one of the most inviting and friendly people. There fruits n veggies are always fresh. When I look for the brands I like I always find them. The app makes things super easy. Also the rewards I get for just doing my regular shopping is nice 🙂 too. I saved an extra 10.00 with my reward points and that's a huge perk. I love my Giant. I shoo in Baltimore on Fort Ave.
Zach Peters 4 months agoI did a delivery order and the order status was not showing up in the app for some reason. So I called to check if my order was shopped for/ picked up. The guy said they didn't have info about delivery orders, only pick up orders? Is it not the same shoppers for the third party delivery orders as for pick up? Then he just hung up on me. I have done a pick up order in the past that took them 50 minutes to bring out to my car after calling the pick up number a few times to tell them I was there. The online pick up department just often tends to be a mess so if you’re going to do pick up or delivery, order from a different giant.
Trisha Rhee 5 months agoI'll give this store location 2 stars because they were well stocked. There was plenty of produce, meat, perishables, and non perishables. I give them such a low rating because considering MD could possibly be hit with a blizzard this coming weekend, everyone was in the store after work today, but the store wasn't prepared to handle it at all. The lines went all the way back to the middle of the aisles in every line with a cashier. I was in Lane 14 for 10 minutes patiently waiting. Then a customer close to the register says she's the last customer and we all had to move to a different line. How is that fair or reasonable? There was even a blind person waiting in the line with me. That's messed up on so many levels. I used to be a cashier and CSR at a grocery store for several years and if someone had to take a break, they took their till in the office safe and a new person hopped onto the register. They kept it moving. I finally get checked out at a different register and go to the parking lot with my son and suddenly the wheels on the cart lock. I'm in the parking lot and I'm parked across from a Giant cart corral so I should be able to push the cart to my car but nope. So my 12 year old son and I had to drag the cart closer to my car and I had to carry my groceries to my car. That's ridiculous. I understand why carts lock because some people steal them, but I was still in the Giant parking lot. Whoever planned where carts lock did a poor job. And the manager on duty did a poor job with the registers tonight. If it's as busy as it was, anyone meaning even a manager should be on a register to help. I know not to go here anymore when a blizzard or terrible storm comes. I wasted so much time here and it wasn't worth it. I should have gone somewhere else. I definitely will next time.
Caroline Hayden 3 months agoOverall this store is pretty good regarding prices, service, and variety of items stocked. One thing though: be careful buying cheese in either the dairy section or the cheese section near the bakery. We've gotten cheese on a number of occasions that's been moldy. It's to a point, where we might just get from somewhere else.
