Explore Baltimore - Broadway Market Broadway Market, located in the heart of Fells Point, is one of the first public markets in Baltimore, dating back to 1786. One of six remaining public markets left in Baltimore, the markets were once the city’s major source of food for the growing city. In the early days the market yards were equipped with stalls, barns and a weighing platform to accommodate the livestock the farmers brought into town to sell. On market days farmers came to Fell’s Point by wagon, boat, and ferry from nearby counties seeking an outlet for their products. Broadway Market, the oldest of the existing markets in Baltimore, has a long tradition of serving the residents of Fell’s Point and Baltimore. Several structures have succeeded the original market buildings. The present north market building (ca. 1864) was originally topped with a second-story hall used for social and civic affairs. After a fire damaged the building in the 1960s, the second story was removed. In 2011 the north market building of Broadway was shuttered and tenants moved to the south market building. After nearly a decade of sitting empty, the north market building opened in 2019.

Such a cute space! The renovations have really allowed it to shine. Very clean and hip on the inside. there are food stalls inside, outdoor seating, and limited street parking (parallel parking is the main option, streets can be narrow-- it's fells point, so be mindful of that!) great place to walk to if you're in the area. Prices will range depending on where you choose to eat. Inside, they have Last Slyce, Thai Street, Everest Spice, Connie's chicken and waffles, and Taharka Brothers. Plenty of options to choose from! I recommend and can't wait to come back.

This is a nice food hall that offers a variety of places to eat. We were able to try a couple of different eateries. Each had its own unique items. Usually my fiancé and I like different eats and it’s nice to be able to combine different food all in the same location. A lot higher quality food than a food court.

I love that there are several different eateries inside, great places to choose from. We chose Sanford and son, sorry, I can't remember the exact name.But the food was so good. The customer service was even better. The lemon fresca is the bomb and the pineapple one is as well, the watermelon was good, but not as good as the other.Two.

Located in popular Fells Point, Broadway Market is a little food hall on the site of a historic market. During an overnight trip at the nearby Canopy Harbor Point, my family of three walked here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There aren't lots of food stands inside, but enough to find something you like. They have chicken and waffles, Thai, ice cream, seafood, a bar, etc. We opted for Thai and the vendor was out of this world. Our green curry, papaya salad and pad thai were well flavored and tasty! There are public restrooms in the back and tables outside and throughout the inside of the space. Our four-year-old daughter especially loved the kid-sized yellow table.
