Was staying a few blocks away at a hotel with kitchen. Jewel osco had all i needed with actually very surprising low prices on very good cuts of steak. Good vegetable section and higher quality products

There are some bad people working there. I went shopping, and this creepy individual was on duty. I was simply looking for a specific item and asked him if he knew where to find it. Afterward, he told a colleague of his to keep an eye on me. Why? What did I do to warrant being watched and followed? This is completely unfair. It would be best to go to a different store; the staff at this location are not good people.

I have been here and done pickup orders 5 times. Each time I have had a significant issue with timeliness. Today was the last straw - I waited for 35 minutes after arriving for them to bring my groceries out to me that I selected and paid for hours in advance. I had to get out of my car and go into the store to ask an associate about it. Once she called the deliverers, they did not even answer their phone. They finally called back and proceeded to take an additional 10 minutes to deliver my food. Ridiculous. Do not order pickup from here unless you want to waste your time.

I do Uber Eats Shop& Pay orders and honestly Loathe coming to this JEWEL. The bathrooms are always disgusting, there’s never anyone in customer service, and the selections of food are always out. Nonetheless, I had to complete my order. The day before yesterday I was in self check out finishing an order, then I was informed those orders had to go through the registers. I finished my order and left. The next day, I had another shopping order and I went through the cash register. I was at Yaye register, and let me tell you this girl had the worst attitude ever in regards to ringing me up. She slowly dragged the items to scan, barely wanted to look up produce codes, and was rolling her eyes the entire time like she hates her job. I was so glad to be done with my transaction because her customer service was horrible. The whole purpose of me going to self check out was to AVOID people rude, ill-mannered people like that. I grabbed my receipt and unfortunately, it got stuck in the conveyor belt. I asked her if she could print a duplicate receipt or come and assist me, and she just shrugged her shoulders. That’s when a young gentleman named Tylon at the next register helped me. He came to the rescue by taking apart the conveyor belt and retrieving my receipt. He did it wholeheartedly, didn’t complain, and was an absolute problem solver. He went above and beyond. I think he should get employee of the month because he’s the nicest JEWEL associate I’ve ever met in that store. He needs a raise and to take Yaye’s place at the register. That’s A-1 service. I stopped by Jewel-Osco recently and had a good experience. The store was clean and well organized, which made it easy to find what I needed. They had a nice variety of groceries and the staff were helpful when I had a quick question. Checkout was pretty smooth too. Overall, it’s a convenient place to grab everyday essentials.
