Mauricio Mauricio Mauricio! I'm not talking about the one on Housewives of Beverly Hills! I'm talking about the Chrismatic, exceptional Mauricio from fresh market who is the best representative of the quality they represent from fresh vegetables and fruit, sushi, sandwhiches, deli, cheese, wine, seafood to meat, bakery, coffee, candies, specialty items and so much more! Incredible customer service to keep bringing customers back! Fun times here and great food!

I visited on 5/8/26 in hopes of completing my shopping for the upcoming Mother's Day weekend. The store was not at its best. In particular, the baked goods selection was sparse, disorganized, and many things looked like they'd been handled - a lot. I left without everything I'd hoped to get and headed to Whole Foods.

I had such a wonderful experience at Fresh Market in South Tampa thanks to Chance! From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who truly goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcomed and cared for. Chance was patient, knowledgeable, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. You can tell he takes pride in his work and truly values customer service. Employees like him are what make people want to keep coming back. Fresh Market is lucky to have someone like Chance on their team — he made my shopping experience exceptional. Thank you again for your kindness and outstanding service!

I have a love-hate relationship with fresh market. First complaint is the ridiculous prices for dark chocolate covered nuts that aren't dark chocolate. I think of dark chocolate as 70% cacao. I'm not sure this stuff has 30%. The other is the hot food bar. The "salads" are hard to explain. Except for two offerings, there is little to no nutrition. Most of the offerings remind me of food I used to get at the school cafeteria. Gooey flour-based flavorless "cheesy sauces". Meatloaf that is more bread crumbs than meat. Other meat adjacent concoctions that look completely inedible. These school cafeteria quality offerings are not in line with your image and frankly, I don't know how you're not embarrassed to offer them, nevermind charge the prices that you charge. The ribs are great. The pulled pork is great. If you don't like paying double for everything, don't go.

I would like to share a positive experience I had when I was shopping at the store on Sunday afternoon, specifically at the deli section. I wanted to get pot roast, but sadly it was unavailable. The lady that was helping me, Annie, told me it would take 30 minutes to have it ready. I had the kids in the car with my wife and didn’t have time to wait. She recommended I try the chicken dinner that came with a corn muffin and 2 sides. I wanted to get something that the kids will like and she mentioned it was good and that they would like it. She was patient with me and quickly gave me samples to find something that my kids would like. I don’t think I have seen this much patience from staff from all the fresh markets I’ve gone to in the past. It really made my day as I had a lot of bad luck going on that day. I think I have finally found my favorite branch for Fresh Market now. Will come back for the pot roast though that’s too good.
