First time here, was nice to see something close by to me. Prices do dictate the convince of closeness though which is slightly frowned upon. However I still was over charged *photo* apparently $27 when it should have been around 20. If it was a mistake lmk, will bring my the card and app

I love this store! From the customer service, plants, grocery selection, beer and wine… it checks all the boxes and I can’t wait to see what else is to come! Thank you for being there for the neighborhood, we need you guys🙏🏼

Capitol Market is a welcome change to 7-11! No offense to the 7-11s, they're great too. But there is a food desert downtown for homeless people on food stamps (I.E. ME)! and it's nice to have a new flavor to add to the mix (literally and figuratively speaking). I consider myself a vegetarian and it's HARD to make a selection when I'm presented with so many healthy, fresh, and tasty options here in the form of wraps, salads, pasta, snack packs, and more. (I believe) Capitol Market has vegan options, as well. 1 of the many perks is when their delicious (and sizable)! bakery items go on sale. There's a wide selection of alcohol available, whether you're a full-blown alcoholic or just like getting your sips in lol. You can find some pretty exceptional gifts here. I'm a huge David Bowie fan and I saw a mini paper doll magnet made in his likeness. Interesting and funny postcards, stickers and such. When I go to Capitol Market I get on people's nerves because I have to rummage through every single gift shop item 😁 Another reason to shop here is the swiftness of service. The cashiers are not only friendly and helpful but they'll get you in and out. They're trustworthy as well.... one time I accidentally left a huge bag of (nice)! belongings and the staff totally held on to it for me until I was able to return to pick it up. The store is conveniently located nearby Central Library and the Civic Center. I don't know if it has occurred yet but Capitol Market is working on expanding into a grocery store. Definitely a fan!

I’m grateful for all the work that your staff and you have completed to improve the overall quality of our local capital market. The expansion, taking feedback, helping with ordering items and carrying them in store. Keep up the great work! Edited my review to update on the improvements and that they handled my issues well. Previous issues were expired item and smell due to the renovations taking forever to vacate the building.

Love coming here for snacks and last minute necessities. They have a good assortment of anything you could want or need and the employees rock. Maya is absolutely fantastic! The guy with long, blonde hair is also great — while the store is awesome, I took the time to rate and review specifically bc of how outstanding the employees are :)
