Okay, so I was just in Trader Joe's on logan in denver and the young man who checked me out in register #7. I believe his name is Akim... I am pretty sure I'm not spelling that right...But anyway, he was the nicest friendliest grocery store clerk checker I have ever met. He took time out to talk to the gentleman in front of me Even though there was a line which I do not mind at all. And gave him some advice about gyms in the area and went on to offer me, water for my flowers that I was purchasing.. a whole bucket which has never happened before, Although I am from Colorado Springs and the people there aren't as friendly especially at Trader Joe's... I just want him to know that he is appreciated and would like to thank him for making my day better. You do a great job, don't ever stop being somebody's sunshine...

Great shopping experience. Friendly & helpful staff. Quick checkout. Great food items, especially fruit. Parking can be limited during busy times. Wide aisles. Bringing your own bags is helpful. Cookie Butter is my favorite thing & now I God some ice cream in the same flavor. Fair prices for such unique & tasty items.

Super friendly staff. Shelves are typically well stocked even at the end of a busy day. Great selection of flowers! Fun TJ brand items.

I usually have a positive experience at this Trader Joe’s and the staff is always very kind, which is why this interaction rubbed me the wrong way. Today I approached a cashier who appeared to be available (shorter female, brown hair, glasses). Since she had no customers, I asked if she was open. I had to ask twice because I was ignored the first time. When she finally acknowledged me, she didn’t speak or make eye contact. She simply made a cut-throat “no” gesture with her hand instead of saying something like, “Sorry, I’m not available right now.” It felt dismissive and honestly a bit uncomfortable. This type of interaction usually wouldn’t bother me. What really confused me was just a few seconds after, another customer approached her and she verbally said yes and seemed happy to help them right away. Given that contrast, the interaction left me wondering why I was being treated differently and if it was due to my race, which was upsetting. Thankfully, another cashier was very kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. Because of the nice cashiers I still enjoy shopping here and will continue to come back. I hope interactions like this can be handled more politely so customers feel acknowledged and respected. I work customer service as well, and it really doesn’t take much to be kind and respectful to people.

Love Trader Joe’s! This location has ample parking spaces and is well-stocked. I came close to closing and they had everyone out making sure everything was all stocked for the next day. The staff was super nice and friendly! The prices are great and the selections are awesome! I’m always surprised with how low the prices are, especially when I end up grabbing more goodies than I planned for!
