Don't buy the meat unless you want to pick off or ingest tiny pieces of Styrofoam/plastic. Also it seems scammy for items not to ring up at the club card price even after the card info is entered and accepted. The system relies on customers not paying attention because they are busy scanning and bagging their own groceries.

Going grocery shopping soon? We'll I'll tell you what Safeway had amazing selection of foods even craving deserts hit up the bakery for the freshest cakes.. don't have what your looking for already prepared well you can custom order to your liking. However they have all the freshest ingredients for both your baking and cooking needs. Highly recommend.

Clean, well-stocked store. Update September 2023: What a fantastic experience in this store! Rodney was very helpful on the floor with finding items. Logan was so friendly at the register and with the checkout process. The store is so neat and clean, so well-stocked, and very easy to navigate! They had a lot of Oktoberfest items that we cannot find at our local Safeway, so that was fun! The bathroom situation is a bit weird. The bathrooms are locked, an employee has to walk you to the bathroom, let you in, and you cannot take any items but your phone and wallet (no bag) with you. I am not sure what that is about, but the bathrooms themselves were neat and clean.

I was checking out and Alex (I believe that’s his name - he used to work for Frito-Lay) a front end manager, came to help me with my coupons - what a friendly and helpful employee he was! He was actually chatting with me about real stuff! He was also engaging with the other front-end workers which was cool to see. Hang on to him Safeway - he’s an asset!
