First I want to recognize Jeff. He was very helpful to direct me to items that I was looking for. Safeway at Bon Plaza is a convenient, well-organized neighborhood supermarket that balances everyday essentials with a few pleasant extras. The store layout is logical: produce and floral near the entrance, bakery and deli centrally located, and dry goods and household items arranged along clear, wide aisles. Produce is generally fresh and attractively displayed; seasonal items and local suppliers appear regularly. The deli offers hot foods and ready-made meals useful for quick dinners, while the bakery’s selection of breads and pastries is solid. Grocery selection covers major brands and store-label alternatives; specialty and international ingredients are present but modest in scope. The store maintains a good range of organic and natural products, and the refrigerated section includes several plant-based options suitable for vegans. Weekly sales and the Safeway loyalty program make staples more affordable. Staff are courteous and efficient; checkout is usually quick though mornings and early evenings can be busier. The pharmacy and customer service desk handle prescriptions and returns smoothly. Parking is adequate for the plaza but can fill during peak shopping hours. Overall, Safeway at Bon Plaza is a reliable, pleasant option for routine grocery shopping—efficient, clean, and convenient for local residents looking for good variety without the overwhelm of a larger superstore.

I’ve been coming to this Safeway for a long time and always thought the staff was so welcoming and kind. Not anymore. Not sure what the shift has been but as of the past year, the staff there is so unfriendly and has very poor customer service. Probably is a management issue but there’s been a severe lack of focus on the friendliness and service of the staff. Are the employees unhappy or lacking morale in workplace? They won’t return a smile, say hello/goodbye, or acknowledge you at all. god forbid I need to ask for help with anything as it feels like they are upset for me even asking. I’m leaving this review in hopes something changes because this is a community grocery store that is important to so many people.

Terrible!! Been shopped there for 45 + years, terrible customer No Service!!. Never said hello , goodbye, help you find anything, Nothing. All are no personality, not happy to have a high paying job, with great insurance and room to advance.meat and seafood at this locale is mediocre at best.what kills it is the super unfriend ly employees take some happy pills before work pleeeeze.

The Store is a great neighborhood feel and I used to enjoy going and doing my shopping there up until recently i have never had a problem with any of the employees.Most of them are fairly friendly.There is an older lady that works at the self checkout.That is very rude and does not understand personal space will walk up as you are checking out and touch your items counting. How many you have? She will cancel your transaction. If you have more than 15 items and tell you to go to another checkout. Which mind you I would not have any problems going to a regular cash register.If they would have more than one register open when you use self checkout.If there is any need for assistance you are waiting ten to fifteen minutes.

There was a recent review by someone stating that Konee was a terrible person, i actually have the opposite opinion.. Konee is actually one of the sweetest at this Safeway next to Tracy and Mercedes at Starbucks. We’ve lived in the area for 3 years and everyone here has become our community.. anytime we come in they greet us like we’re family. Konee actually went out of her way to find my man and I to let us know the Pokemon center machine had packs because she knows how much our daughter and her dad love it. I absolutely love this Safeway, one of the reasons I would be sad to move out of the area
