I hate to leave a one star review because I always get good service here but this takes the cake. Its my birthday and we got this boston creme cake from bakery. Theres no creme in it at all, its a complete scam. A while back, the same thing with the strawberry creme croissants. Little strawberry bits on the edges, zero inside. Seriously guys. Edit: There! I was all crabby because it was my birthday cake! The guy returned it and it was all fine. Ill still be in to buy seafood and produce, but your bakery is sus 🧐

This store is not a mad house like the others. The shelves are not ransacked and workers are very polite some I have seen working there for many years. Always a wonderful experience. The police presents is also a plus. Friendly cops. Early morning, good meat can be found discounted.

I came in looking for the holiday Coca-Cola, I had to circle around the store a few times to be able to find exactly what I was looking for. And by the end of my shopping experience, I had your guest service associate Amber watching me as I check out in the self checkout. I had to turn around and ask her if she was doing OK because she was making me really uncomfortable, I was literally watching her In the POS screen as she was watching me for no reason. Then blamed it on the penny issue. I will never shop at this location again. I’m not surprised these stores are closing

I like ordering online delivery for my friends. This photo shows the order details I was given. I called the store because my order arrived at 509 pm and was not by side door. The store associate explained that didn't show in their system, and offered a refund. I think I might have missed something because when I checked my card balance two days later it was lower than the charge of services. I contacted online customer service. They gave me a credit to my account. It was significantly less than my total charge, but I accepted since I understood that was all they could do. Other experiences I have had with their online delivery have been good.

Formal Complaint Regarding Grocery Delivery Service and Customer Support To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the treatment my mother and I received while attempting to use your grocery delivery service from the Safeway store located at 1121 N Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. What should have been a simple issue to resolve turned into a four-day ordeal involving multiple phone calls, repeated misinformation, and unacceptable customer service. On 05/14/2026, I contacted customer service regarding my mother’s address not being recognized in your system. The first call lasted approximately 2 minutes before being disconnected by the representative. I immediately called back, and during an 8-minute conversation I was assured that my mother’s address had been successfully added and would appear in the system within minutes to a few hours. However, when I attempted to place the order later, the address had still not been updated. I called again, spending another 14 minutes on the phone with no resolution. During a subsequent 35-minute call, I was told that my mother’s address was “not recognized by the system,” and therefore online grocery delivery could not be completed. My mother lives only 0.72 miles from the store in question, which makes this explanation difficult to understand. At that point, I advised my mother that shopping with Safeway might no longer be an option. However, because she has been a loyal Safeway customer for longer than I have been alive, I decided to make one final attempt to help her.
