They have fresh produce, a restaurant inside that serves fresh authentic food, a little some of everything, and Friendly employees. The majority are bilingual, so there should be no hesitation…. I suggest you check it out. 😉

Carniceria Leonela is a true hidden gem, offering a delightful combination of a restaurant, meat market, and Mexican grocery store. While I haven't explored the market extensively, the restaurant is outstanding! Their authentic "Caldo de Res" (beef soup) and "Menudo" are must-tries for soup lovers. They also serve a variety of delicious tacos, complemented by authentic, intensely spicy salsas reminiscent of the flavors found in Mexico. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an even more attractive option. If you crave genuine, unadulterated Mexican flavors, this is the place to go; you won't be disappointed.

I love the fact that its meat market offers a wide variety. But my experience with the restaurant used to be my favorite. I used to love the menudo but the last 6 times I've gone in its watered down, the tripe is not cleaned or cooked well. The pigs feet are undercooked. And the salt shakers are always dirty. What happened to the attention to detail. That used to be my go to place at least once a week

Great selection in Hispanic goods, prices are reasonable taking in consideration most of it seems imported, meat selection is broad and high quality, my go to store.
