had a very unpleasant experience here today. The cashier was noticeably rushed and impatient, even though the store was not particularly busy at the time. The interaction felt careless and unwelcoming, and it left me feeling uncomfortable rather than helped. What made it worse was that there was no effort to slow down or correct the situation, which resulted in a very poor overall experience. I came to this store expecting a smooth and respectful interaction, but instead I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. After this experience, I don’t see myself coming back.

I visited the Whole Foods Market on 4th Street in San Francisco. It’s not as nice as the one on Market Street, probably because it’s right in the heart of the city. The store felt more like a warehouse, and it wasn’t as clean as I expected. However, the staff was helpful, and the lady at the checkout was especially courteous and very friendly.

I was able to get almost everything I needed. Steadily busy and clean. Though I was kinda disappointed with the lack of ice cream that was offered, being that either there shelves had just been sold out or they had a melt down. Even still i was able to improvise and pull off a successful surprise birthday celebration for a friend. Thank you for the bakery staff for doing a great job writing on the cake such last minute.

Food Nice, But Staff.. will get this Store struggling to make sales!! I felt like I was being followed and watched,as If cameras are not everywhere already.Not my first time going here either.Like the store, but not the staff that this Co-Op hires.. So I got asked a "few" times while shopping, "can I help you find something" from staff. Not from a helpful place but from a Criminalization place. Because the Tone and the Facial - Expression did not match the.. " can I help you find something". All I can ever say and have been saying to them was, " I'm fine, I'm all good here..if I need you I'll come ask you to help me find something"..that's how shopping goes right? Moreover, at checkout I can hear the way the cashier treat and greet other Customers that are in line before me,I hear Customer Service from the checker on blast "did you find everything ok?, thanks for shopping with us".. When I get to this same checker ..it's silence as if "Bryan" seen a ghost ..total silence. Now this is on Sunday,May 31st @ 9:23p after banging on buttons and scanning he says, "ok $27.87", as if there is a million people behind me as if he's rushing.So I give the exact change first, which is the 87cents.He counts it...then says, " the 27" I'm like "relax, it's coming" as I'm grabbing the funds from my pocket.. so yeah he was rushing in silence..but he did not have the power to rush me to pay..with no one in line behind me! But wow!! he thought he did. In closing, Its Tyrants like this that screw up businesses that claim they are free of Discrimination.So hopefully after seeing this post Leadership does something about this, possibly Termination for Bryan..for this type of behavior. Or more training as us the People speak out..and identify tyrant staff by name...If nothing happens and the staff keep acting this way .It can only mean the leadership is cheering this behavior on. And We The People will continue to be Visualant,and continue to expose hateful individuals and Executives/ Owners that CODDLE this type of behavior. So to the Whole Foods Corporate at the 399 4TH ST San Francisco, CA Branch..It's time to take a stand against Shopping while Black Discrimination. For WE will be Watching and Posting, for now!!....Please Do Better!

I had such a genuinely wholesome experience at Whole Foods yesterday that I had to share. Dall (or Dallas) went above and beyond in a way you just don’t see every day. He was incredibly attentive to detail while putting together the most beautiful mixed flower bouquet for me - seriously, it looked like something straight out of a magazine. What really stood out, though, was what happened after. Once he finished, he actually took the time to find me elsewhere in the store to make sure I got it. He didn’t have to do that, but it’s those small, thoughtful actions that make a big difference. Dall is truly an amazing person who clearly cares about what he does and the people he helps. That level of customer service deserves recognition - and honestly, a raise. Whole Foods is lucky to have him!
