Updated: Line was wrapped around the ENTIRE store. Counted 51 people total in line. This can’t be normal. It doesn’t just *get like that*. Management - do better. I went elsewhere. Not a great experience. Love for TJs going down. —— Love this location. FREE PARKING. Lot's of spots. Excellent selection. The usual TJ's that everyone loves. Lacking in the plant selection just a ~tiny~ bit but that could never impact my love for TJ's.

I was insulted by an employee. Market store. 10 4th St, San Francisco, CA 94103 Saturday, June 6, 10:31 a.m. I was waiting in line to be checked out next when I approached the cashier. He asked me if I wanted paper bags. I said no, just put it in the cart. Thank you very much. As soon as I said that, he started checking out the items aggressively, mumbling away in his mind. I said to him again, please, no bags, just put it in the cart. He bagged my items, anyways, aggressively, mumbling, and after he was done, he pointed it with his thumb and said, “Get out!” I have been shopping there for years. I live a block away. I have never been insulted by any cashier or processor in my whole life. what he did was not normal human behavior. at first, I thought he was mentally disabled but apparently not. I told Front Desk office about what happened. She said she was gonna take care of it? I decided to send emails to Trader Joe’s store never got a respond. they don’t care about Customer service.. That really sucks!

I was surprised to see almost all the parking spaces filled today. Then I saw a long line out the door. I had no idea what was going on. Normally on Mondsy afternoon there is ample parking and the store is not super busy. Their new Spring tote bags were the reason for the crowds. My hat is topped to the managers and staff. The event was well organized. The grocery shoppers were allowed in, while those who wanted to purchase the popular canvas totes had their own line. All check out work spaces were filled with friendly polite staff. I did not purchase a tote, I just took a photo.

Convenient stop for groceries and small snacks. Neighborhood is rough so be alert. Employees are very nice and make good small talk whether in the aisles or at checkout. Lots of nice common and niche products. Parking is in the back with two stories of parking.

Trader's Joe's on 9th Street in San Francisco has great parking since Nordstrom Rack closed. The store it's self is small, so there are limited items. There's a small fruit selection but a big can good selection. The restroom was pretty dirty.
