This is my husband and I’s favorite Safeway in SF besides the Safeway in Sedona, AZ. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Plus, they have the best premade sammies and salads ever. The Safeway Select macaroni salad is ridiculously good for the price point. They have regular sales on everything we love. They have security in the store so its a safe experience for shoppers. Shop here so it doesn’t go out of business!

Good spot if youre in a bind. I'm not really impressed with the produce selection of fruit. Store also feels a bit crowded. Nice selection of grab-n-go-to-eat. They did have a nice broth (chicken, beef, vege, bone) selection though, in case that matters to anyone. 😂 I didn't take photos of my groceries or the store. Didn't think there was a need. The Safeway at 4 King in San Francisco is a rather large one. There's often very good specials especially in the app. $5 Fridays are off the chart. They rearrange the cashiers and there can be long lines even though they seem to go fast. You can also check out your items at the deli or at the bakery.

I visit this place when I'm in the area they've got a good selection of meats and cheeses although they do not carry triple cream truffle Bree which is the only thing I'm upset about other than that great place

Smallish in size but I can find what I need. Good fruit & veggie selections. Friendly & helpful staff. Gets busy during lunch hours.
