The supermarket looked unfamiliar to me at first but I decided to see what’s inside anyway. At my first glance, I noticed how similar it was to a Safeway. But I noticed that this is a subsidiary of Albertsons. The store had a very extensive amount of selections, including baklavas, which was quite surprising for me (I’ve never seen a baklava product at a Safeway before). However, I also noticed that a lot of these prices were quite expensive. But I still wanted to keep it as a five star review since the selections were extensive. Overall, I think it is a good place to do grocery shopping, but I wouldn’t prefer this place as a primary shopping center due to its high prices.

I'm still angry that Safeway bought Andronico's. It used to be such a good store. Andronico's used to be expensive, but they had great quality and a selection of items you wouldn't see anywhere else. Once Safeway bought Andronico's all the variety is gone but the prices are still high. I guess they kept the Andronicos name so they can trick people into paying high prices.

Bought around $120 worth of groceries a couple weeks ago - it was my first and last time entering an andronicos. Multiple items were rotten/poor quality/close to rotting despite expiration dates. - Deli ham I got became slimy within 1 week of buying. Expo date was weeks in the future. Had to throw away. Gross - andronicos brand fresh juice tasted slightly carbonated the same day I bought. Couple days later tasted completely fermented so I threw it away. Gross - Swiss cheese (from foreign brand I didn’t recognize) tasted completely rotten upon opening. Horrible. The expo date was also weeks in the future. Thank god I tasted it before putting it in my French onion soup. - fresh thyme I bought was 75% black… umm. Google said it’s a sign of stress and not necessarily bad to eat. So I picked out the few green parts for my soup. Threw out the rest. - baguette I bought became totally stale the next day. Usually fresh bread lasts at least two days. Safe to say I will not be returning to this place. Worth the extra miles to Trader Joe’s for way better prices and quality.

I’ve been using the Online Pickup service at Andronico's lately. I wanted to give a shout-out to Wilson, who consistently makes my grocery runs incredibly fast and stress-free. ✨✨ His attention to detail is unmatched 🤩. Every item I received is of the utmost quality, from the produce to the packaging 🤍🤍🤍. It's clear he takes the time to make sure everything is perfect! 🎉

Clean. Friendly staff. Fresh produce and meat counter. Great location for Sunset residents without car. Also easy quick stop if heading towards Ocean Beach by car. Plenty of parking. More on the pricey side, check for sales. As they're owned by Safeway, most Safeway sales are valid there even if not advertised in their own sales flyer.
