Misha Smith a month agoWe had vouchers to use at Grand Central Market, and we were so glad we did! There are so many food options, which made it perfect for our large group with a variety of dietary restrictions. Everyone was able to find something they enjoyed. I highly recommend the lobster roll — it was absolutely delicious. If you’re on a budget, the $5 tacos are a fantastic deal and honestly more than enough for a full meal. The donuts were amazing, the smoothies were just as delicious, and the wine vendors were wonderful. Since we weren’t able to receive change back on our vouchers, they were kind enough to top off our glasses, which we truly appreciated. We had a large crowd with lots of vouchers, and every vendor we interacted with was incredibly patient and friendly. The overall experience was welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely make sure to get vouchers again. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great variety of food options in one spot!
o ZUEL o 2 months agoI recently stopped by Grand Central Market and it’s one of those places that just feels alive the second you walk in. The energy is hard to miss—busy, loud, and full of people from all walks of life grabbing a bite. It’s not fancy, but that’s exactly the appeal. What I like most is the variety. You’ve got everything from tacos and BBQ to ramen and fresh pastries all under one roof. It’s perfect if you’re with a group and everyone wants something different. I tried a couple different vendors, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. You can tell a lot of these spots take pride in what they’re serving. Seating can be a bit of a challenge, especially during peak hours, so don’t expect a quiet, relaxed meal. It’s more of a grab-your-food-and-find-a-spot kind of place. But honestly, that’s part of the experience. It feels authentic and unpolished in a good way. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and the location in downtown L.A. It’s also a great place to just wander, try something new, and maybe step outside your comfort zone a bit. Overall, I’d definitely go back. It’s not about a single restaurant—it’s about the whole experience. If you enjoy food halls with character and great variety, this place is worth the visit.
E. Shaddock 4 weeks agoSuper fun vibe and the food was delicious and fresh. I would come back for sure. There is something for everyone. Rminded me of Spirited Away with all the food booths. There is literally anything and everything you want to eat. Went at lunch time and one of our group ate Italian and two of us had Thai. The food was hot and fresh with ample servings. The crab fried rice was enough for two people and we also had delicious chicken with sticky noodles. The flavor was perfect.
Daveed Tuck 5 months ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grand Central Market is one of those places that instantly feels like the heart of the city. The energy is incredible, with an amazing mix of cultures, flavors, and longtime vendors all under one roof. There’s something for everyone, from classic comfort food to international favorites, and it’s perfect whether you want a quick bite or to wander and sample a few different spots. The atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming, and the historic setting adds real character. If you want to experience LA in one stop, this is it. A must-visit every time you’re downtown.
Travel Maker 3 months agoVisited Grand Central Market in downtown LA, and this place is a must-visit if you love food and local vibes. It’s a large indoor food market with a huge variety of options — from tacos and burgers to ramen, coffee, and desserts. You can literally walk around and try different foods all in one place. One of the most famous spots here is Eggslut, but there are plenty of other great vendors worth trying as well. The atmosphere is lively, busy, and full of energy. It feels like a mix of locals and tourists, which makes it even more interesting. Seating can be a bit limited during peak hours, and it can get pretty crowded, but that’s part of the experience. Overall, this is a great place to explore, eat, and experience the real downtown LA food scene. Check my profile for travel tips and hidden deals.
