I stopped by AJ’s Fine Foods on Camelback around 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday expecting a quick breakfast and coffee, but it ended up being a frustrating experience. I asked for a slice of quiche from the deli counter. It came out quickly, but unfortunately it was rubbery, and by the time I actually ate it, it was cold. For coffee, you have to take a number from the coffee bar. I did that and waited about 10 minutes, with no sign my number was close to being called. It looked like there was only one person working the coffee station, while several cashiers were standing around and the deli employee who had served my quiche wasn’t helping with the coffee line at all. Based on how slowly things were moving, it felt like I probably had another 5–10 minutes to wait just for a cup of coffee. At that point I gave up and just grabbed a cold coffee from the case. At 8 a.m. on a Saturday, coffee should be the fastest and easiest thing to get out the door. The whole setup felt poorly managed and unnecessarily slow. 2 stars because the cashiers were friendly.

So grateful with all the help I got from Tina with a catering order this week. Tina took her time sat down with me and helped customized the menu for my special event.Sherry assisted me with getting my order paid in cash. and while Tina was off work, Gina was so helpful with questions I had throughout the week and I just want to say thank you all so much. 😊

Shopped here twice. First time was before Christmas and purchased 2 Swiss chocolate bars for $7.99 each but were advertised as $6.79. Yesterday went back for more and took a picture this time, only for the manager to accuse me of using an old picture and demanded the cashier look at the photo’s time stamp. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye when I was speaking to him to go and look for himself. No apology and accused of lying and cheating the store - when that is exactly what they did to me before Christmas! Shame on you!

Honestly, I want to like this location, but some of the workers here are rude. I dont know if it's just bad management or the company is not paying them well. But I will not come here anymore.

AJ's Fine Foods is simply amazing! The store is always clean and tidy, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I frequent this place for their fantastic floral arrangements which are absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. Even though AJ's Fine Foods is on the higher end in terms of pricing for groceries the quality of products is unbeatable. My all-time favorite thing about this place is their iced teas, especially the large passion tea with orange slice which is an absolute steal at under $2. Plus, the cookies they offer for kids are a great way to keep them happy while shopping. Overall, AJ's Fine Foods is definitely a go-to place. I would highly recommend everyone to check it out!
