Always overpriced, and terrible produce selection. I bought a pack of mushrooms for cooking with dinner and when I opened them THE SAME DAY there was mold. Upon taking the mushrooms back to the store, I was told that I could not replace the mushrooms for fresh ones since I didn't have a receipt. No capability to look at credit card history, offer a coupon, or even just take my word. I advise always taking your receipt so you can 1) get your already molding produce refunded and 2) report the robbery that the prices here are.

The store is near my work and kid's school. I would visit this store a lot if it had consistent hours. Unfortunately for me, it runs on the Marquette academic calendar which I never remember until I pull on the locked door. Given the location I'm sure it makes sense to focus on students, but its the Metro Market for me still.

I came in here last weekend. They wanted $4.50 for Parmesan cheese. They have no competition in the immediate area. This is most likely price gouging. I was so disgusted by the price that I walked out as soon as I saw it. That being said, the store, although tight, did appear neat and tidy.

Price for fresh food is unreasonable and I found some vegetables&fruit not fresh at all. I guess their strategy is overprice everything because they can since Marquette is basically a food desert. But it's still nice to have a grocery store on campus. the food selection includes bread&milk&beer&fast food etc. not a bad place if you need to grab a quick bite. Attention: check the expiration date on all the packages of chips&cookies because a lot of them are already expired

It's small and cute but for what it is it's super nice. Large liquor/beer selection. Salad Bar. Ramen/Sushi station. Organic options. Fresh stuff as well as good quality frozen goods. You're not going to find specialty stuff here but it does have quite the selection, very well kept, very clean, very friendly First visit was very worth the walk.
