I purchased Fresh Market's Easter dinner for four. Every food item was very good,well prepared and easy to heat. The boneless ham was delicious, very little waste. I certainly hope to purchase the same dinner next year. Thank you Fresh Market

The actual store, its layout, the options and variety, the prices, and the cleanliness...10 stars! Wonderful! The staff friendliness, helpfulness, and professionalism....1 star...so I gave this place 3 stars total. For someone that has a ton of "weird" allergies...this place was beyond awesome! They had so many options of not just snacks but actual food. It was really refreshing. Prices are always high for specialty/allergy-friendly foods, but these prices were competitive even with what you pay at Walmart for my "go-to" snacks and foods. The displays are eye-catching and not overwhelming! The produce section....just gorgeous! There is a lot of variety, and I really like how even with a lot of things are not crammed into small spaces/shelves. The issue came at checkout. The girl who checked me out said "don't tell me...you're gluten free" but in a snide tone. I explained that it is much more involved than that with my allergies. I asked if the store has a house card for the deals because I am just visiting. She said I can sign up and get a card. I said, "great and I will get the deals today?" She said "no, not for 24 hours." I asked if I could bring my receipt in after 24 hours to get a refund on those deals and she said no. Everything I purchased was on sale and I wanted to get that deal. I was a bit frustrated. Another customer heard the exchange and kindly let me use her card/number to get the deals. By this point, the cashier had started talking to a co-worker and never even looked at me again. I bagged my stuff, tore the receipt off the register area, and walked out. No "thank you" No "have a nice day." So....even with all the amazing experiences I had shopping....won't be back the next time I visit VB. Update June 2023: This rating went from 3 to 5 stars because the manager reached out to me interested in resolving the issue from my experience and that says SOOOO MUCH with Fresh Market's desire to create a positive shopping experience and provide top notch customer service!

Of course The Fresh Market is an absolutely amazing place to shop. This is a great place if you want to treat yourself, or make a great impression for date night, or something like that. Of course, there is a bit of a price point associated with the experience, but why not treat yourself sometime? And there’s high potential for aspiring connoisseurs to create something truly inspiring and amazing from the ingredients and specialized foods here. The Fresh Market is well known for its meats too, so if you have a beef specific mission, I highly recommend this place.

Today was my first experience here (9am), as a plant mom I was immediately excited when I noticed plants & flowers as soon as you walk in. Very clean, quiet & if you’re vegan/plant/Vegetarian they have options for us 😃. I really enjoyed my experience bc it wasn’t busy (introvert here) literally no lines, clean, the staff didn’t mind directing me to where something was. Highly recommend this place for your fresh veggies but they pretty much have everything from food to detergent (even wine).

I love shopping at the Fresh Market. I like the lighting-- not the overhead warehouse lighting that other grocery stores have. I really like how produce is presented, they stack the potatoes, so cool. I like the product mix. Some things there are not available at other grocers. The drinks they offer are wonderful. The prepared food if terrific. I love all their deli salads. The Thursday meal special from the deli is great. I abhor self checkout and they don't do that. If the people are in line, they open another register. If you've never gone, you should go.
