Food Lion

I have been shopping here since 2000. The staff for the most part has always been friendly. The store is clean. My only concern is when I unload my groceries at the register, run my card for payment, I have to hurry and load into my cart as three staff are hanging around this register on their phones and not one including the one who checked me out thought to assist me. It’s sad that life in the retail grocery era has come to this. What are they getting paid to do? I will be spending my money with a different company now. This is a great location at Great Neck Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, and the prices are competitive, so there are always some great deals. The grocery and the area are super clean and the working staff are super helpful and professional. A great place to get in and out with no hassle.

Everytime. This product needs to be sold refrigerated. Between moldy produce and bread at every location I shop at, I drove across the bay hoping this food lion location would have better quality produce and bread. So much money waisted on bad quality products. Disappointed. I will be shopping at Kroger from now on.

Food Lions are always clean, that includes the bathrooms. If you were to ever find a dirty toilet seat in a Food Lion bathroom, that would only mean that some very lazy, nasty, dirty and disrespectful person was responsible for doing it and he or she is probably nearby or on their way out of the store. But rest assured, it will soon be clean. Thank you Food Lion

The service that I received from the employees today was above and beyond. A few of my bags were left out of my large order by mistake from an employee and when I called, they did everything to make it right, including bringing the rest of my missing items to me. aslo this is a very clean and nice organized location Great job Food Lion. Keep it up.!
