Never experience a bad moment coming to this Food Lion until today. I always go to the deli department and get me cold cuts so I can take with me to work in the evening time while I work my shift. I usually always been greeted by a younger or middle-age African-American young lady that works there always nice always pleasant always has a smile on her face. She interact with the Customer. She gives good advice. She cracks jokes, There was a gentleman that works there. His demeanor is so nasty is just unbelievable. He was like I’m on a 30 minute break started slamming his hands against metal pans so I ask him do you not like your job no ma’am that’s not the problem I say I will also taking a 30 minute break Great timing because the manager of the store was walking down and I said excuse me are you the manager he say yes I explained to him the counter that I had with his deli clerk, the manager did apologize to me, knowing that I suffer from anxiety and panic attack. I couldn’t even stand in that environment anymore. I had to leave so I put down whatever meat that I had in my hand and I told the manager I’m sorry I gotta go. I know for a fact that he did Talk with that deli guy, but he is not someone you want working for your company. He’s short temper and does not have any type of customer service skill. I don’t think I will be back until that man is removed from the store.

Very poor customer service. Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. What was even more disappointing is that the manager saw what was happening and did nothing about it. Very bad experience overall.

Always a good experience, helpful staff, a good variety of everything is found here unlike some of the smaller stores. Fantastic chicken, wings…

This is a good place to shop for your groceries, it has great produce, and good customer service.

Shelves were stacked, the cashier had an attitude. Wasn't very friendly. This was in Virginia Beach off S Birdneck.
