I've been coming here for the longest time even before they change the name to los jefes Everything's well settled the employees greet every time you walk in. The place always looks organized. I like that you can get 2% back and have points for your next purchase. Miss belle always been so greeting and welcoming. She's a sweet person. Los jefes should have more raffles 😊😊 like last time it was a good raffle 🥳

I absolutely love this place a gem here in the city hands-down the employees are also polite and kind and welcoming. I have never heard of a place like this. I hope you guys continue to flourish in your business

If you own a restaurant, this place is a go-to for the local community. There aren't many other places like this around in the area. Plus, there's a general groceries and beer section for normal non-business owners.

Store looks old, the fixtures are terrible. Pricing is decieving, not clear. On one aisle there was and old dispay, it was huge, it is suppose to be a cooler where normally cold deli, milk, juices are to be displayed for sale but instead of deli, on all the shelving it was displaying bags of charcoal for sale. Out of courosity, i touched 1 of the bags thinking they were cold, LOL. Freezers displaying meet had a bunch of bags with various frozen meats and you can not even tell what is contained in them, unless you carefully read the price ticket. In that frozen meat section, I felt as if I went to goodwill and shoped the long rack containing a whole bunch of hanged clothes in a varirty of sizes and styles, LOL. not impressed at all.

The restaurant supply market- It's not a "supermarket"- but I found my favorite tortillas from local sources here too. HEB and Walmart both carry the Casera tortillas from the registered maker (La Banderita, meaning: the small flag), but at both HEB and Walmart, they stock so many packages of these tortillas at one time, the tortillas spoil in a fridge, and I have had to return them twice at HEB and also Walmart (but in transparent bag) for a refund. It's not much $, but the problem is how much time it takes to report to HEB or Walmart that inside the opaque bag of Casera type of tortillas, somehow they have spoiled inside, becoming like cheese halfway. I now buy the same tortillas at Los Jefes, and they are good. Plus here they have other interesting packages of tortillas. They are as good as tortillas get in San Antonio, not as good as from Southern Mexico, but workable. Note La Banderita adds glycerine and Can than Gum to the dough. But they use while-grain corn.
