Went today for some groceries..the quality of everything fresh SUCKED! Got some sushi, rice was either overcooked or just old. It was actually disgusting. Got a salad for a side for dinner..checked expiration, it was 3 days from today. You’d think it would be fresh, but NO! We opened the bag and there were multiple leaves rotted. It smelled terrible and after rinsing, made the water dark brown. Absolutely disgusting. The picture is even after we rinsed it off.

This HEB loation has limited choices,only due to the fact that isnt as big as most, but they have a bakery, pharmacy, sushi bar, tons of prepared easy meals, wine and beer, fresh seafood, and nice selection of meat. And a beautiful array of fresh produce. Store is always clean, staff is pleasant and helpful. Self check stations, quick cahiers. And, it's wheelchair accessible in the store, and in the nice clean restrooms. The poor guy that cleans the loo seems to always step aside if you happen to have bad timing! Its busier and more crowded around 5-6pm, as people are trying to pick something up on way home from work. Pretty quiet in the early mornlng. On the 24 bus route. They have everything you need except for the white chedar Cheetos, but, I can't find them anywhere anyway. I'm happy to call this store MY HEB!

I wanted so bad to love this store since it’s the closest to my house but no. I bought pork chops and when I tried to cook them they smelt so bad. I threw them out and thought maybe I did something wrong maybe I thawed them too long. So two weeks later I bought pork chops again this time I brought them straight home kept them in the fridge and started cutting them up and same thing they smelled so bad. I took them back to the store bc they’re obviously not being stored properly or something is going on. I felt the manager really didn’t take the claims seriously they just gave me my cash back (not the taxes btw). I really hope they check on the fridges. Someone could really get sick. So I just shop at a different heb the one zarzamora plus that one ALWAYS has really fresh fruits and veggies!!

Clean but cramped, store has the feel of a warehouse more than a grocery. Employees are polite and seem knowledgeable. There is a small bike rack out front but both spaces were taken and people were locking their bikes to the fence nearby.

Had a bit of a mix up while checking out. Chelsea was so helpful and genuinely kind I had to go out of my way to give her a great review. She was so knowledgeable and handled the situation great. Truly, example of the reason we love HEB so much here in texas.
