This Kroger is relatively smaller than the others. There were no cashiers at the register so we had to wait in the self check out line which took a while due to most people having full carts. We got what we needed essentially.

This Kroger Store at the 2nd Ward area is the smallest I have been to. But it has everything I need. The parking lot is awful though. When it rains, puddles everywhere.

Never have I ever… left a review for a grocery store. But Marquel, at the self check out, is a ray of pure sunshine. They are without fail a welcoming and smiling face. They’re so quick to assist everyone, very patient and always hold a brief conversation that shows me they know their neighborhood customers and that they love their job. I’m also in customer service, so I know they’re doing this no matter what kind of day they’re having or what is going on in their life. GIVE THIS ✨SUPERSTAR✨ A PROMOTION & RAISE.

Customer service is trash. If I wanted to bag my own groceries, I would do self check out. Kennadi had myself and 2 others in front of me bag our own groceries. Didn’t even wait till the customer was done before she started scanning the next. Do better.

I’m happy to have a grocery store in the community but please be careful with the baskets. Today I had a basket I noticed that smelled full of human excrement. I had initially wiped off the handle but it was on the entire basket. I noticed it after getting it and the staff got gloves and removed it immediately from where I left it. Also, be careful in the parking lot. Someone hit my car and ran on me but a bystander took a pic.
