dizzy on caffeine 5 months agoI am sick and tired of this heb playing in my face every single time I come here. EVERY week, something is wrong with my groceries. Last week, January 25, 2026, I bought a box of crackers that expired in AUGUST 2025. The responsibility of checking for expired goods should not fall on the customer. I expect to receive a fresh item when I’m grabbing something on the very front of the counter. Damaged, old, expired stuff is constantly sitting out and it is so bothersome because where is the staff? A moldy thing of cheese can sit out all day and not a single staff member walked by and noticed? This turned me off from buying anything off the dairy/lunch meat wall because who knows if this stuff spread around. This past week, I bought several small cups of cottage cheese because the big tub is always out. One of the small cups had a hole stabbed in it and I found out after I purchased. And I know this was IN store because I always take a pic of my cart in the checkout line to keep me accountable w my budget (see photo attached). This lack of quality control and consistent inventory is so frustrating. It happens all the time. The popular items are consistently sold out for months on end. Like you should KNOW your demand by now. And how can you let stuff sit out for so long that it’s expired 5 months later?? Do yall not check your inventory against your sales?
Coribbea Ames 2 months agoI strongly recommend that others reconsider shopping at this location. I would rather drive farther to another store than continue wasting my time and money here. On multiple occasions, I’ve seen containers of strawberries with visible mold sitting right on top, in plain view. It’s hard to believe employees are not noticing this—at this point, it reflects a lack of care. I really wish I could have got pictures of the strawberries, I’m sure they will still be there if I go again lol. Most recently, I purchased a loaf of bread that turned out to be completely moldy, which was extremely frustrating and immediately ruined my meal. Situations like this are unacceptable. This pattern raises serious concerns about quality control and attention to customer health and safety. I expect better from H-E-B, and it’s disappointing to see standards fall this low at this location. I hope management takes immediate action to address these ongoing issues.
Eva Alcorn a month agohave been a loyal H-E-B customer for nearly 20 years, and honestly this was my first unpleasant experience. I usually receive friendly, professional service, which is one reason I continue shopping at H-E-B. Yesterday, I loaded all of my groceries onto a register belt where the light was on, but there was no cashier present. Normally that means the cashier is nearby and on the way back quickly. After waiting a bit, another young lady kindly said she would go find the cashier. When she turned around, Orlando — the cashier assigned to that register — walked up. She asked him if that was his register, and he said yes before beginning the checkout process. Unfortunately, there was no greeting, no interaction during checkout, and no “thank you” at the end. At one point he asked me to “press agree,” and because I was focused on my grandson, I assumed it was confirming the amount. The entire interaction just felt cold and dismissive, which is very unusual for H-E-B. I did ask to speak with a manager, and Josh handled the situation professionally. He was warm, apologetic, and understanding, and I truly appreciated the way he listened and responded. I’m sharing this review because I believe customer service matters, especially for longtime loyal customers. One negative interaction will not stop me from shopping at H-E-B, but I do hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.
Aju Khan 6 months agoThe floor was wet with no warning signs posted. I narrowly avoided slipping and could have been badly hurt. I immediately informed the manager, after which caution signs were finally put up. Wet floor and displaced rubber mat was still the same after sharing the information. Management should closely monitor the store to ensure customer safety.
Suzlynn Bruton 5 months agoMy daughter and I purchased meals that included a free Smartwater, but unfortunately they were out of stock . Josh, the manager on duty that evening, kindly instructed me to bring my receipt and coupons back the next day to redeem them. When I returned, they were still out of stock, but this is where the customer service truly shined. Robert one of the Stockmen went above and beyond to help me. He was incredibly kind, patient, and proactive. He checked the back and even took the extra step of calling another manager, Marvin. Marvin personally walked with me through the store to help locate the water, and we eventually found a stand fully stocked. That level of care and effort meant so much. Josh was also there the next day and was extremely kind, professional, and helpful, assisting the cashier with scanning the coupons and making sure everything was honored. The cashier was also very professional and accommodating. H-E-B truly is the best. The customer service was impeccable, and every person involved showed genuine care and a heart to serve others. I absolutely love this store and am so grateful that H-E-B employs people like Robert, Marvin, and Josh. They made our shopping experience exceptional.
