Nice carniceria type Mexican style market. Has good meat selection and produce. Fresh chicharrónes are crunchy and best in Bakersfield.

Store is convenient. But very overpriced on produce. If u call they will not give u a price over the phone. Do not eat from there little bakery section i been there a few times and the vendor comes in the van and it was open the bread wasnt covered just on a tray. That wasnt my 1st or 2nd time i seen that pan delivery.

I shop here all the time. Location is convenient by far. The Family Food Market Staff are very courteous and friendly. They treat all their customers the way they should. The store is clean and their meats are fresh and reasonably priced. Sometimes I shop there for my meats instead of FoodMax!

Just a low budget market. Good for a quick shop when you need something basic. Nothing special. Nothing awful. Low prices for rather low quality things. However, this place has delicious $3.50 chicken nuggets that are delicious and worth the trip. Especially if you have a picky child and are staying in a hotel with a microwave. It is what it is and for that I give it 3 stars.
