Publix - where shopping is a pleasure. Haha. Growing up in Florida, Publix was a staple in our family, getting regular groceries. They have had prices rise a little more than some grocers, since 2010 or so, but their customer service is always top notch and quality is always superior. I appreciate that Publix usually delivers a consistent shopping experience of a clean store, in-stock products, and has pretty great weekly sale items. Growing up in Florida, they also featured cool awareness for things like 'Hurricane Season' preparedness, which they still do. They also have over 3,500 online recipes you can search & if you choose a recipe, you can click to add any or all ingredients to your shopping list. Pretty smart. Above all this, I like to brag on the Publix Deli! My family greatly love many of the delicious made to order subs, so much so that my sister calls the place 'Sublix' when visiting primarily for this meal delight. 😂 Well worth the cost, the deli staff deliver well-packed sub sandwiches with high-quality, fresh ingredients from the veggies to the meats and cheeses. Some of our repeat favorite subs are the Jerk Turkey, the fresh Vegetable Sub, and the classic Italian. We also love seasonal specials like one they made for the Tampa Bay Bucs, and in fall, the delightful Thanksgiving Dinner themed sub with turkey, Gruyere Cheese, bacon, mayo, and sweet Cranberry Orange Relish. It is amazing. On this visit, my friend ordered this Thanksgiving sub and I enjoyed the Chicken Tender Sub with Sweet Peach Heat sauce and a few veggies. Great flavor combinations and Flo in the deli did a wonderful job constructing our subs, making them great! Stop by this Publix (tucked away on the bottom floor off 11th) for great shopping, deals, and the amazing deli. Truly a pleasure!

This was our first stop on Broadway, and it didn't disappoint..We arrived in Nashville late Monday, and not every place is open and busy. The band was GREAT, sound was excellent, and so were the drinks.

Publix is hands down one of the best grocery stores around — always clean, bright, and well organized. The staff are consistently friendly and willing to help, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience every time. The produce section is fresh and neatly arranged, and the bakery always smells amazing with plenty of delicious options. The deli is another highlight — the subs are easily some of the best you can get anywhere, made fresh and packed with flavor. I also appreciate how easy it is to find everything; aisles are clearly labeled, and the shelves are well stocked even during busy times. Checkout lines move quickly thanks to efficient cashiers, and self-checkout is a nice option for smaller trips. Prices are reasonable, and the weekly BOGO deals make it even better. You can tell that Publix really values cleanliness and customer satisfaction — it shows in every detail. Whether you’re doing your weekly grocery run or just stopping by for a quick lunch, Publix always feels welcoming and reliable. Truly lives up to their slogan, “Where shopping is a pleasure.”

who cares a month ago

I’ve frequented this Publix for years with no problem, (except the shrinking sizes and rising prices of their name brand items) but recently i had several run ins with staring security guards and check out workers walking up in my personal space to look through my handcart. when i ask if theres some issue they just look at me and walk away. if it was only once sure, whatever. but no, its every time i come in. I find it deeply unwelcoming for a business supposedly rooted in kindness and good customer service to treat people like this.

Publix BOGO deals are misleading. I've run into multiple situations where the promotion is clearly advertised in the store, but it’s not honored at checkout. It's frustrating and feels deceptive, it actually is. At this point I'd avoid the hassle, there are better grocery options that are more transparent with their pricing.
