The way customers are treated at self-checkout is concerning. I don’t appreciate being repeatedly questioned about whether I’ve scanned items that have already been scanned. Having employees stand over customers and scrutinize their purchases creates an uncomfortable and, at times, discriminatory experience. If additional verification is necessary, then a full checkout service should be provided rather than selectively questioning customers. This type of treatment is one of the reasons I switched to Publix. Kroger has consistently provided a poor shopping experience, and I’ve also frequently encountered produce that was already moldy. If these customer service practices continue, the company will face lawsuits due to discrimination and harassment.

I had a disappointing experience at Kroger. I asked a manager (his name was something like Raman or Reman) for help with putting helium in just one balloon, and even explained that it would only take a moment. Unfortunately, he refused to help and did not speak in a polite or respectful way. Customer service is very important, and I expected a more helpful and friendly attitude. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers have a better experience.

Kroger in Nashville - The Best Shopping Experience… With a Side of Quack! If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to see a grown man in a full Donald Duck costume parading through the aisles of Kroger, look no further! My brother Mitch, the unfortunate soul who lost a bet, had that exact experience, and it was everything you’d hope for in a public spectacle. The amazing staff at Kroger went all out to make sure Mitch’s experience was one he (and everyone else) would never forget. As soon as he waddled through the doors, they decided he needed some accessories—balloons! But they didn’t just hand them over, oh no. They made him earn each balloon by walking up and down the aisles, quacking and performing his best Donald Duck impersonation, while making him wait for each one. Shoppers were treated to the sight of Mitch doing his best "I’m a Little Teapot" performance, complete with the dainty handle and spout gestures, while waiting for his next balloon. By the end, he looked like the saddest yet most festive duck you’ve ever seen, with bright red balloons bobbing above his head as he continued his quacking journey through the store. The staff was not only incredibly fun and engaging but also ensured that this hilarious ordeal didn’t interrupt the usual excellent service Kroger is known for. The whole experience was handled with such a great sense of humor, making it clear that this is a place where the employees genuinely enjoy what they do. If you’re ever shopping at Kroger in Nashville and need a laugh (or an embarrassing story to tell at family gatherings), just ask if Mitch the Duck has been around lately. I guarantee, it’s an experience you won’t soon forget! 🦆🎈 Thanks again! We hope Mitch can come back again!!

The red meat selection is awful. No sirloin steak. The workers know nothing. Twice the milk jugs have been sticky and a week before expiring. Once I found bread three weeks past the best by date in the bread aisle.

Went in for some stuff for a trip and for our adopted daughter’s dorm room. Went amazing. Didn’t even know Dr Squatch made body wash until I saw it here and it was on sale! Also, it’s two stories and literally didn’t know that. It has an elevator! Would visit again!
